Back by popular demand, the 2nd Annual Restoring Our Faith Summit will return to South Burlington on October 10.
The event will host prominent religious leaders, scholars, and social scientists for a one-day event.

Rabbi Meir Soleveichik is one of the world’s preeminent Jewish thinkers and educators one of America’s most influential religious leaders. He is the host of numerous online courses and the “Bible 365” and “Jerusalem 365”podcasts at Tikvah. He is the senior rabbi of Congregation Shearith Israel in Manhattan, the oldest Jewish congregation in the United States. And he is the director of the Zahava and Moshael Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought at Yeshiva University.
The Restoring Our Faith Summit is born from the idea that the global pandemic throttled our country into a state of fear, resulting in cultural breakdown. While our churches and synagogues were shut down, the secular forces of government, the media, and educational institutions became more prominent in our lives while our reliance on God has waned.
Along with Rabbi Soleveichik, this year’s Summit will feature speakers and panel discussions that will address some of the troubling cultural trends in our country and the critical role of faith, marriage, and the importance of protecting children in a flourishing society. Discussions will focus on the Judeo-Christian principles at the founding of the country and the importance of returning to those concepts. It will also address the breakdown of the family, fatherlessness in the home, the sexualization of children, and the troubling cultural influences on them.
The organizers’ hope is that this Summit will educate and inspire Vermonters to reignite their faith and defend their freedoms and their families to spark a return to traditional Judeo-Christian values.
