FBI raids Mar-a-Lago: Trump confirms ‘my home was under siege by large group of agents who even broke into my safe’ | 8 Aug 2022 | Donald Trump says his Mar-a-Lago home has been raided by the FBI. “These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before,” he said in statement Monday night. “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate.” It is unclear what the raid is for, what kind of warrant is being executed and what agents are seeking. Trump said: “It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.”

Trump wins CPAC straw poll with more than two-thirds of the vote | 6 Aug 2022 | Former President Trump won a comfortable majority of the vote in the Conservative Political Action Conference’s (CPAC) straw poll, maintaining his position as the favorite for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Organizers announced at CPAC’s convention in Texas that Trump won 69 percent of the vote, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) with 24 percent. Trump expanded his lead from the last CPAC straw poll in February, when he received the support of 59 percent of voting attendees to DeSantis’s 28 percent.

Pentagon doles out another $1 billion in Ukraine aid | 8 Aug 2022 | The US Department of Defense has announced its largest military aid package for Kiev since the Russia-Ukraine conflict began in February, planning an additional $1 billion in weapons shipments to the former Soviet republic. The latest batch of weaponry was approved under Joe Biden’s so-called “drawdown authority,” the 18th such package for Ukraine, the Pentagon said on Monday. It will include more ammunition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers that the US previously sent to Ukraine, as well as 1,000 Javelin anti-tank missiles, C-4 explosives, Claymore anti-personnel mines, and tens of thousands of artillery and anti-aircraft rounds. The Pentagon also plans to provide 50 armored medical treatment vehicles, plus more pallets of medical supplies and equipment. Biden has now approved about $9.8 billion in military aid to Kiev since he took office in January 2021.

Democrats’ ‘Inflation Reduction’ Bill Will Increase IRS Agents by 87,000 Employees | 7 Aug 2022 | The Senate on Sunday passed the Democrats’ sweeping economic package that would allocate billions of taxpayer dollars to facilitate the expansion of the Internal Revenue Service’s workforce. The IRS would receive $80 billion if H.R. 5376, the $750 billion “Inflation Reduction [sic] Act” passes the House and lands on Biden’s desk. The funding would mark a 600 percent increase from 2021 when the bureau received $12.6 billion. The reconciliation package would also double the current IRS workforce by hiring an additional 87,000 employees to the bureau’s staff of 78,661 employees. At 165,661 employees, the IRS is poised to become larger than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI and Border Patrol combined total employees of 158,779.

Senate Democrats Pass Biden’s Massive Tax-and-Spend Bill – Kamala Harris Casts Tie-Breaking Vote | 7 Aug 2022 | Senate Democrats on Sunday passed Joe Biden’s massive tax-and-spend bill dubbed the ‘Inflation Reduction Act.’ The bill was passed in a 51-50 party-line vote after a 2-day vote-a-rama. Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote. The bill, which passed the senate through budget reconciliation, will head to the House of Representatives for a Friday vote. More than 230 economists wrote letters to Congress warning that the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ will make inflation worse.

Los Angeles voters to decide if private businesses will be forced to house the homeless, despite safety concerns | 7 Aug 2022 | Los Angeles voters will cast their ballot on a proposal that could force private businesses – hotels – to house the homeless, a policy that has many hotel owners concerned about how it will impact public safety. President of the Northeast Los Angeles Hotel Owners Association Ray Patel joined Fox & Friends Weekend” Sunday to discuss why the policy is not a long-term solution and his worry if the policy is adopted. “This is not a solution, it’s just a temporary fix,” Patel said. “And during Project Roomkey, a great example, they housed the unhoused in the hotels — but the government never provided an end solution. They never provided transitional services to permanent housing; and simply issuing hotel vouchers impacting our hotels and our marketability of those rooms to the pain tourist, corporate travelers and locals is not a solution now.”

‘To me, Liz Cheney is Obi-Wan Kenobi,’ says WaPo columnist on PBS News Hour | 7 Aug 2022 | Washington Post and MSNBC contributor Jonathan Capehart compared Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and former President Trump to Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in “Star Wars” on Friday. Capehart and New York Times columnist David Brooks appeared on “PBS News Hour” with Judy Woodruff to discuss various topics, including Cheney’s upcoming primary. Brooks called Cheney “a hero,” but noted she is behind her Republican challenger by more than 22 percent and likely to lose her seat. That’s when Capehart praised her as comparable to a beloved Jedi. “And, look, I keep thinking about the scene in ‘Star Wars: Episode IV,’ when Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi are battling it out on the Death Star. And Obi-Wan says to Darth Vader, ‘If you strike me down, I will come back more powerful than you can imagine,'” Capehart said.

  1. This is all so very bad. This is unprecedented in our history. How much more can law abiding and peaceful Americans tolerate from the criminal cartel destroying our republic?

  2. It’s been a long time coming. Trump has been skating for much longer than any regular US citizen would have given what he has done during his term and since. Were we to have done just one of the things he and his family has done, such as embezzling from his charity, we would be serving time. I still fully expect despite the evidence of his attempted coup, that he will continue to walk free the rest of his days as there have always been two sets of laws, ones that apply to us, and ones that apply to the wealthy and powerful.

    • Methinks you wrote Trump, where you should have written Clinton.
For those that are giddy about these events, what you are witnessing is the continuing shredding of the US Constitution. Yesterday the 4th amendment, along with Vermont’s 10th.
For those that wish to usurp the rule of law for perceived revenge or hatred of a politician-
this will return to damage your freedoms, too.
The events of the last 2+ years can only be seen as a shift to totalitarian rule. This is the same crap that Stalin, Castro and countless others have done in the last century.
In your eagerness to be ruled instead of governed, you have allowed the freedoms so hard fought for you vanish. Soon enough you will recognize the prison you voted to put yourselves in.

    • Trump and his team have always been 5 steps ahead of the mentally challenged left. This is getting good. Kash Patel says everything Trump took had been declassified. He says that much more was declassified for release but it has been withheld. He is to release it all in coming days.
I think the FBI has opened the final chapter in the takedown of the corrupt government.
The best is yet to come…. Bigly.

    • Indeed two sets of laws John :
      Senate Democrats’ tax-and-climate bill.

Carried-interest income is the compensation private-equity and hedge-fund managers get when their investments are sold for a profit. Income on such investments held at least three years is taxed as a long-term capital gain, instead of the higher rate for ordinary income.

Senate Democrats wanted to make fund managers hold those investments for at least five years to get the better rate—the latest in a long line of attempts to revise the law, which critics characterize as a loophole that benefits some of the wealthiest Americans.

  3. Theyre panicked, desperate and deeply afraid of Trump. Their 1/6 show trial was a flop and they know theyre about to lose the house and senate. They want us to start shooting in retaliation. Do not play their game! Banana republic crap like this just makes them look even worse. Get out and vote today!

  4. This calls for a PRACFULL REVALOUTION! Just vote these elitists’ out of office, on mass!

  5. Now that the precedent has been established, how long before the FBI shows up at the White House seeking Joe’s computer data on his Hunter connections he says he did not have?

This has dragged on for three years. Got to question how competent the investigators are given the computer repairman found it when he turned it on.

We all deserve better leaders in both parties. Aren’t we all just a bit tired of all this political BS.

  6. Anthony Weiner’s laptop, Hunter’s laptop, Nancy’s laptop, Hillary’s basement server, etc. etc. All these criminals running around free as birds, while our Justice Department creates crimes and set up crimes at the will of their Masters. Right Gretchen Whitmer?

  7. Once again the leadership of the FBI demonstrates their true purpose of the last few decades: as a praetorian guard of the democrat party.

  8. TRUMP ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AUDIT THAT, IRS……………….Don’t care, won’t change squat.

  9. I called Vermont’s three Congressional Offices in D.C. as soon as I found out about this raid, and expressed my outrage in no uncertain terms. It was their staff members I spoke with. They were nice and polite and received my strong complaints. They even discussed it with me. One told me that the Biden White House did not authorize the raid. That it was the Justice Department who sent the FBI into Trump’s home. I said that wasn’t really fooling me or making me feel any better, because Biden had basically weaponized the Justice Dept. and it was occurring under Biden’s watch, thus making him ultimately responsible. I told all three offices that this was like tactics Stalin or Hitler would have used, and that was unacceptable in America. I was very clear about my position. It was political persecution of a political enemy. Yes, I said that. They said they would absolutely pass my comments along. So if Peter Welch is non-committal, you need to get on the phone and CALL HIM and the other two gentlemen and express your outrage. Do it!! They need to hear from us!! Or send an email!! Or any other contact method you deem appropriate like a text. Whatever. Just do it!!

  10. Always remember, whatever the left accuses others of doing, they are most assuredly doing themselves. What were the numbers I remember reading? Was it that 75% of democrats are guilty of whatever they accuse their political opponents of? And throw in 30% of the right for good measure. When justice finally comes, practically no one will escape unscathed.

The Founding Fathers never foresaw professional politicians. Back in their day, most would serve their terms out of love for and service to their country, then go back to their farms, businesses, trades, etc. We need to get back to those days, and term limits sound like a great place to start. Most of today’s politicians have never made an honest dollar in their lives.

    • You sure will be AFRAID if he gets in office again. You will never see another president , it will be his ons, and all his cronies. His will be a dynasty like the Chinese and russians and not to mention the hITLER REGIME. yOUO HAVEN’T LIVED LONG ENOUGH TO APPRECIATE THIS COUNTRY AND WHAT IT HAS DONE for you. gO TO rUSSIA AND FIND OUT HOW NOT TO LIVE.

  11. The Administrative State (a.k.a) The Deep State suffered a near death experience when Trump was elected, they can’t afford to have that again, so much corruption would be exposed to the public.
I would not feel too comfortable if I were President Trump because if this effort fails to keep him from running again, he and his family have Deep State Secret Service protection. Would it be a sudden mishap like a fall from the 14th floor balcony of a Trump owed property? Or maybe a rare unexplained fatal illness? The Trump jet has a mid-air explosion? Or maybe just a good old fashion “two in the hat?”

  12. It’s hard to understand that there are still people out there that do not believe in the rule of law, but instead are stupid enough to fall for the “big lie”. Trump needs to go to jail and history will record that is what happened.

  13. Neo you’re not the first to recognize corruption. You have come a long way, but we have control and will rewrite the constitution so you can never get this close again.
