The actor who plays the fastest meta-human in the DC Comics universe was arrested Sunday for allegedly breaking into an empty Stamford, VT home and stealing several bottles of liquor.

Ezra Miller, 29, a Stamford resident, allegedly broke into a County Road home owned by Isaac Winokur, 33, also of Stamford. Stamford is a small town in Bennington County.

The arrest follows an investigation into a break-in reported at 6 pm May 1 on County Road.

“The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present. As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling,” Vermont State Police said today.

Miller ultimately was located on August 7 at 11:23 pm and issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on September 26 at 8:15 AM for arraignment on the burglary charge.

Miller has had several similar brushes with the law, including assault, according to his Wikipedia entry.

Wikipedia also reports these “Vermont farm incidents”:
“As reported by Rolling Stone, Miller has been housing a woman they met in Hilo, Hawaii and her three children on Miller’s farm in Stamford, Vermont since mid April 2022. Allegations from both anonymous and named sources as well as the children’s father are that guns and ammunition are easily accessible to the children, all aged 1–5 years old, and that the one-year-old put a loose bullet in her mouth. The woman claims that Miller has offered a refuge for healing and an escape from the children’s father, whom she alleges is abusive. Further claims include assault rifles propped up on piles of the children’s stuffed animals, and people smoking marijuana in front of the children in rooms without proper ventilation. The same source published that Miller has been running a large, unlicensed marijuana cultivation operation, growing significantly more marijuana than the state-allowed limit of two mature plants.”
