Japan begins releasing Fukushima radioactive wastewater into Pacific Ocean –Water containing radioactive tritium being pumped into ocean via tunnel from Tepco plant, amid protests from China, South Korea and fishing communities | 24 Aug 2023 | Japan has begun discharging more than 1m tonnes of tainted radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean from the wrecked Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, news agency Kyodo has reported, a move that has sparked protests and import bans from China and Hong Kong, and anger in nearby fishing communities. The plant’s operator, Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco), pumped a small quantity of water from the plant on Thursday, two days after the plan was approved by Japan’s government. Tepco said the release began at 1:03pm local time (0403 GMT) and it had not identified any abnormalities with the seawater pump or surrounding facilities. Live video showed engineers behind computer screens and an official saying — after a countdown — that the “valves near the seawater transport pumps are opening.”

Trump Warns Tucker: “There’s a Level of Passion…and Hatred I’ve Never Seen” and That’s “Probably a Bad Combination” | 23 Aug 2023 | Tucker Carlson dropped a tease clip earlier in the evening of what to expect in tonight’s interview, taking a jab at his former employer – who will be hosting the GOP debate directly against the discussion with Trump: “Whatever you think of Trump he is the far and away indisputable front runner in the Republican race,” Carlson said during the less than minute long video... Tucker asks some stunning questions, including: “Do you think Epstein killed himself?” and “Whatever happened to Mike Pence?” Then Tucker goes there: “It started with protests against you, then impeachment twice, and now indictments… Are you worried that they are going to try to kill you? Why wouldn’t they try to kill you?” Trump calmly responds: “I’ve seen the lengths that they go to… when they make up the Russia, Russia, Russia collusion and that’s exposed… these are sick people. I think they hate our country.”

Eight Republican candidates took the stage in Milwaukee, seeking to win over voters on the road to securing the party nomination for president in 2024. Tim Scott, former Vice President Mike Pence, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

Bret Baier Has to Interrupt Debate to Tell Audience to Stop Booing Chris Christie | 24 Aug 2023 | A heated moment emerged during the first GOP presidential debate for the 2024 election held in Milwaukee tonight. Moderated by Fox News anchor Bret Baier, the debate’s temperature spiked when the subject of former President Donald Trump was broached. The question posed was both controversial and critical: “If former President Trump is convicted in a court of law, would you still support him as your party’s choice? Please raise your hand if you would.” In response, four candidates on the Fox debate stage raised their hands to affirm their continued support for Trump, even under such circumstances. DeSantis and Pence hesitated before also raising their hands, clearly conflicted. Only one candidate, Asa Hutchinson, refrained from raising his hand…  [Vivek defended Trump and blasted Chris Christie.] As Chris Christie tried to defend himself, a wave of booing was directed at him to a point where Baier had to step in and halt the debate. mRNA COVID Vaccines May Be Triggering ‘Turbo Cancers’ in Young People – Experts | 28 July 2023 | Experts are seeing a puzzling rise in cancer in people younger than 50 that appears biologically different from late-onset cancers… The term “turbo cancers” is commonly used to define aggressive, rapid-onset cancers resistant to treatment–primarily in young, healthy individuals following COVID-19 vaccination. These cases often present in a late stage with metastasis and quickly turn fatal… Dr. Ryan Cole, a pathologist and CEO of Cole Diagnostics told The Epoch Times in a later interview that he first noticed an uptick in certain types of cancers after the vaccine rollout in December 2020 and that he believes that researchers are starting to understand how these cancers are occurring. “Physicians are seeing multiple types of cancers in their day-to-day practices–and in young patient cohorts where you typically don’t see cancer. Although the increase in cancer has been blamed on missed screenings, you know it isn’t due to missed screenings because young people don’t typically get screened,” Dr. Cole said. Cancers are increasing at a rate above what’s expected, and countless doctors and clinicians around the world have confirmed this. Their patients are cancer-free for years, but then after a booster, cancers “pop up,” he said.
