WESTFORD — A 56-year-old woman from Westford was killed in a single-vehicle crash at around 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday.

The crash took place on Westford-Milton Road, in the town of Westford. Police say a 2014 Honda CRV, operated by Heather Valyou, was traveling east when it veered off the road and struck a tree head-on.

Valyou suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased upon the arrival of first responders.
