  1. That is sort of a misleading headline. Itnmakes it sound like it took 3 years to protect patient data. While data should have been better protected previously, in the testimony, UVM administration says they started working on improved security immediately. Unfortunately, that summer UVM was far from the only healthcare system attacked.
