Of course, no mention of all the municipal wastewater systems that overflowed and/or failed completely causing millions of gallons of sewage ending up downstream and in Lake Champlain…a perennial issue in Burlington. But I’m sure there’s new regulations we can place on farms that will surely work this time. What the heck, fewer farmers means more land for the government to take over — I mean, conserve…right?
