Vermonters for Vermont Initiative Townhall on Energy, Nov. 14 in Rutland

The Vermonters for Vermont Initiative Townhall on Energy in Rutland will be held on Tuesday, November 14 at 5:45 pm at the Rutland Free Library on Court Street.  

A panel of five experts on the topic will discuss Global Warming Solutions Acts, Home heat, Carbon Tax, Fossil Fuels, and the Energy Grid and more.

The event will be held in the city library’s handicapped accessible Fox Room from  5:45 pm to 8 pm.

V4VI is a statewide educational platform reaching out to Vermonters in every corner of our beautiful Green Mtn. State. Over the past three years V4VI has hosted Townhalls and Symposiums across Vermont on CRT Equity and Americanism & Marxism. The group is organizing another Townhall on Energy in Chittenden County and other Townhalls on public policy effecting every Vermonters. Thayer added.

Thayer said that the speakers panel consist of Secretary Julie Moore from the Agency of Natural Resources; Rob Roper, A Public Policy Analyst & Writer; Judy Taranovich, Vermont Fuel Dealers Association & Business owner; JT Dodge, No Carbon Tax Vermont group & a Systems Engineer; and Rutland County Senator Terry Williams.

There will be a Q & A opportunity at the end of the speakers part. We encourage people to email questions to V4V2018@aol.com. Event organizer Gregory Thayer will moderate.
