White House strikes a sour note with Green Mountain State performer

A Grammy-nominated artist from Vermont is none too happy with his president’s musical taste.
After Trump used one of Noah Kahn’s songs to promote a video, the Strafford, Vermont native complained to the White House.
“Would never approve of my music being used in support of you or this administration,” Kahn posted on Trump’s social media accounts.
Trump used Kahn’s track “American Cars” as the audio for a recent video posted on the POTUS and White House Instagram and TikTok accounts, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
After Kahn complained, a presidential assistant wrote on X, “Symptoms of TDS apparently include having a northern attitude,” referencing Kahan’s hit song “Northern Attitude.”
Kahn’s breakthrough single, “Hurt Somebody,” achieved gold status in the U.S. and charted in multiple international markets, according to Wiki.
Kahan was born in Strafford and grew up on a tree farm. His father taught him guitar and his mother writing.
He married fellow Vermonter Brenna Nolan last year and they live in their home state.

Publicly harping about Trump is standard protocol for career advancement for most in the entertainment industry. For him to not speak out would fall under the category of “silence equals violence”. This musician’s claim to fame is his victimhood of various mental disorders, so the TDS fits right in.

I’ve got nothing against Noah Kahn…except the fact that he must live in a very insulated world.
Break out of your shell, buddy! Do some digging into the facts. Don’t be such a hippocrit that you jump to conclusions before you do your own homework.
I swear, it looks to me like the old liberal-conservative Vermonters I used to know have all been brain-washed into this new-age bigotry. It’s not all their fault, the new indoctrination warfare streaming on every device is very powerful.

Sounds like a lot commenters here have BFtS (Blindly Following tRump Syndrome). I recommend they stop reading or watching any of their current news sources, read unbiased news like AP or Reuters for a month and see if their symptoms improve.
