Appeals court OKs Biden federal employee vaccine mandate

In a 2-1 ruling, a panel of the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a lower court and ordered dismissal of a lawsuit challenging the mandate. The ruling, a rare win for the administration at the New Orleans-based appellate court, said that the federal judge didn’t have jurisdiction in the case and those challenging the requirement could have pursued administrative remedies under Civil Service law. U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Brown, who was appointed to the District Court for the Southern District of Texas by then-President Donald Trump, had issued a nationwide injunction against the requirement in January.

Her spokesman made the announcement Thursday just as Pelosi, 82, was scheduled to hold her weekly news conference at the U.S. Capitol. “After testing negative this week, Speaker Pelosi received a positive test result for COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic,” Drew Hammill tweeted. “The Speaker is fully vaccinated and boosted, and is thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided.”

The Democratic leader tested positive after a negative test result earlier in the week, spokesman Drew Hammill said in a statement. “The speaker is fully vaccinated and boosted, and is thankful for the robust protection the vaccine has provided,” Hammill said, adding that she will quarantine according to federal health guidelines.

Senate Confirms Ketanji Brown Jackson for Supreme Court —Judge Jackson will be the first black female to serve on the Supreme Court. | 7 April 2022 | Three Senate Republicans voted with Democrats on Thursday to make Ketanji Brown Jackson the first black female Supreme Court justice. The Senate voted 53-47 to confirm Jackson as an Associate Justice for the United States Supreme Court. Three Senate Republicans, Sens. Mitt Romney (R-UT), Susan Collins (R-ME), and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), voted to confirm Jackson for the Supreme Court. Romney failed to explain to Breitbart News why he opposed making Ketanji Brown Jackson a federal circuit judge last year and then voiced his support for her to become a Supreme Court Justice this year. Jackson refused to say if she holds a position on whether individuals have natural rights. Breitbart News reported that Jackson sentenced those in possession of child p-rnography to nearly 60 percent less time than the national average. Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and others raised these concerns with Jackson during the confirmation hearings.

They claim they spread this disinformation knowingly to the American public in order to keep Russian President Vladimir Putin off-guard.

Three US Intel Officials Tell NBC News That the ‘Intelligence’ Biden Released on Russia-Ukraine Was Fabricated | 7 April 2022 | NBC News on Wednesday evening casually admitted that the “intelligence” Biden released claiming Russia was planning a false flag operation as a pretext to invade Ukraine was totally made up. There were also claims of chemical weapons or Russia asking China for help. Apparently, it was all fabricated. NBC’s Ken Dilanian, one of the Biden regime’s most loyal stenographers, tried his best to spin this in a positive light. “It doesn’t have to be solid intelligence when we talk about it. It’s more important to get out ahead of them – Putin specifically – before they do something. It’s preventative,” a US intel official told NBC News.

‘All Russians are enemies’ – Ukrainian ambassador –Ambassador to Germany told media outlet that he sees all Russians as enemies | 7 April 2022 | Ukraine’s envoy to Berlin, Andrey Melnik, has sparked criticism after calling all Russians “enemies” in an interview on Wednesday with a German newspaper, and later doubling down on his words. His comments triggered accusations that the statement is “nothing short of fascism.” “I will say it very clearly: Russia is an enemy state for us. And all Russians are enemies for Ukraine at the moment,” Melnik told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) in an interview published on Tuesday. He went on to say that it’s not his “concern” to “distinguish” between “good” Russians and bad ones.

Russia suspended from UN Human Rights Council | 7 March 2022 | The United Nations’ General Assembly voted on Thursday to suspend Russia from the UN Human Rights Council. The resolution, proposed by the US, received 93 votes, with 24 members opposed and 58 abstaining. China, a fellow permanent Security Council member, was a prominent “no” vote… US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield had called for Russia to be removed from the 47-nation body on Monday, calling its participation a “farce,” after videos and photos emerged from the town of Bucha, near Kiev, showing the dead bodies of what appeared to be civilians. Ukraine and the US accused Russia of conducting a massacre, a charge that Moscow has vehemently denied. When Moscow called for an emergency Security Council session on the investigation of the alleged atrocities, on Monday, the UK – currently presiding over the body – initially refused, but the matter was considered the next day, in a different format. The US and its allies ratcheted up sanctions against Russia this week.

At Least Two People Killed, Eight Injured in Tel Aviv Shooting Spree –The incident adds to a string of shooting attacks in Israel which have happened over the past several weeks. | 7 April 2022 | At least two people were killed, eight injured in a shooting attack in Tel Aviv, Israel’s ambulance service said. The injured are in critical condition and were hospitalised, medics added. The shooting reportedly took place in Dizengoff Street in central Tel Aviv. Judge issues first acquittal in a Jan. 6 case | 6 April 2022 | A federal defense contractor who admitted to entering the Capitol during the Jan. 6 insurrection was found not guilty on Wednesday, NBC News reports. Matthew Martin, who held a top-secret security clearance, is now the first person acquitted after having been charged for participating in the Capitol riot. His case could now be used as an example for the defense of other Jan. 6 participants who go to trial, BuzzFeed News notes. U.S. District Court Judge Trevor N. McFadden acquitted him after a two-day bench trial, which Martin chose instead of a trial by a D.C. jury, saying his actions were “minimal and not serious,” per NBC News. The judge found Martin “reasonably believed” police allowed him to enter the Capitol, per BuzzFeed.  

Fake agents arrested after bribing their way into Biden’s inner circle –Four Secret Service agents bribed with gifts and apartments have been put on leave | 7 April 2022 | Haider Sher-Ali and Arian Taherzadeh have been arrested for impersonating Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents after two years spent showering Secret Service agents with gifts including guns and free apartments. They were charged Wednesday with one count of false impersonation of an officer of the US, according to court filings. Four Secret Service officials in First Lady Jill Biden’s detail who allegedly accepted gifts from the phony DHS agents have also been placed on administrative leave… The two men had apparently conned not only First Lady Jill Biden’s Secret Service detail but also the management of the building they were living in into believing they were federal agents investigating the January 6 Capitol riot, among other [alleged] crimes.

Biden administration giving cell phones to illegal immigrants | 6 April 2022 | The White House confirmed Wednesday that illegal immigrants are being provided with electronic devices, notably cell phones, in an effort for the Biden administration to “track” and “check in” with them as they await immigration court proceedings. Asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy about the initiative, White House press secretary Jen Psaki the purpose was to monitor illegal immigrants. In a Wednesday letter sent to Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri inquired about “reports that DHS plans to provide migrants with free phones.” “These reports demand answers,” Hawley said in the letter first obtained by Fox News Digital.

Leaked DHS Document Says US Plans to Offer ‘Broadscale Release Mechanisms’ for Illegal Aliens | 6 April 2022 | A leaked U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) plan published this week shows senior officials being told that the removal of Title 42 would lead to an increase in illegal immigration and one way to respond to the increase is to release many apprehended illegal aliens into the U.S. interior. The 115-page document, dated Feb. 17 and published by Breitbart News, is titled the “DHS Southwest Border Mass Irregular Migration Contingency Plan.” The plan was being put in place to comply with an earlier executive order from Joe Biden that directed officials to create a framework to address the causes of migration and to manage migration in addition to providing “safe and orderly processing” of illegal immigrants claiming asylum once they cross into the United States.

Governor Abbott Directs Texas to Send Illegal Migrants to D.C. on Charter Buses | 6 April 2022 | …Migrants are still pouring across the southern border with Mexico. Governor Greg Abbott said Texas will address the migrant influx, which he accused the Biden administration of fueling, by re-routing them to Washington, D.C., on charter buses. “To help local officials whose communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden administration, Texas is providing charter buses to send these illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C.,” Abbott announced at a press conference Wednesday. “We are sending them to the United States Capitol where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border,” he said. The Texas Division of Emergency Management will be responsible for this operation, the governor confirmed.

Twitter Censors Defy Elon Musk: No Plans to Restore Trump, Other Conservatives to Platform | 6 April 2022 | Despite alleged free speech advocate Elon Musk’s purchase of a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter, the company reportedly has no plans to reinstate the accounts of former President Donald Trump and the many other conservatives blacklisted by the censor-happy platform. The company defied Musk in a statement, saying: “Policy decisions are not determined by the board or shareholders, and we have no plans to reverse any policy decisions.” The Mercury News reports that following the recent news that Tesla CEO Elon Musk had purchased a 9.2 percent stake in Twitter, many hoped that the development might result in the return of former President Donald Trump to the platform. But Twitter has quickly put those hopes to rest, stating that the former president would remain permanently banned across the platform.

Biden wrote college recommendation letter for son of Hunter’s Chinese business partner, emails reveal –Biden’s recommendation letter for Chinese executive’s son was sent directly to Brown’s president, email says | 6 April 2022 | Joe Biden, in 2017, wrote a college recommendation letter for the son of a Chinese executive who did business with Hunter Biden, according to emails reviewed by Fox News Digital. Biden has repeatedly denied discussing Hunter’s business ventures with his son. Fox News Digital obtained emails between Hunter Biden and his business associates involved in his firm Rosemont Seneca’s joint venture with Chinese investment firms Bohai Capital and BHR. Hunter held a 10% stake in BHR as recently as last year, the White House previously acknowledged. Hunter’s attorney told the New York Times in November that he had since divested.

Wind energy company kills 150 eagles in US, pleads guilty | 6 April 2022 | A wind energy company was sentenced to probation and ordered to pay more than 8 million in fines and restitution after at least 150 eagles were killed over the past decade at its wind farms in eight states, federal prosecutors said Wednesday. NextEra Energy subsidiary ESI Energy pleaded guilty to three counts of violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act during a Tuesday court appearance in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was charged criminally in the deaths of nine eagles at three of its wind farms in Wyoming and New Mexico. In addition to those deaths, ESI acknowledged the deaths of golden and bald eagles at 50 wind farms affiliated with ESI and NextEra since 2012.
