Letter: Disrespecting flag not winning you friends

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Dear Anti-ICE Protesters:

Burning and Spitting on Our Flag does not make me sensitive to or supportive of your cause.  It does just the opposite.
In my opinion, no argument justifies defiling the flag that will proudly drape my coffin.  Make your case, argue your point, protest if you will, but don’t disrespect the symbol of a nation that men and women died for in order to give you that freedom.

Respect cuts both ways.

  1. Thanks Bruce!
Also – to all …. those …. protesters against ICE…. I ask that you peacefully protest and maybe review all sides of the issue of why you are protesting- maybe you will feel stupid later when you realize that the “protest coordinators” who talked you into protesting maybe leading you astray.
There is a lot going on right now that might be more detrimental to your freedoms than ICE.
Ask yourselves: What is the “protest coordinators” end game???

  2. It’s quite simple. I catch anyone burning the flag, that person will get hurt. I didn’t fight for it so that someone can burn it. I’ll just claim a flashback and it won’t go far in court.

  3. I just saw a video of Donnie signing an American flag with his big fat sharpie pen! Even more disgusting and disrespectful than the American flag with his ugly face printed on it flying high down the road from here.
