A rising star Vermont woman lawmaker will attend the Turning Point USA Young Women’s Leadership Summit June 10-13 in Dallas, Texas and is looking for other young Vermont women who want to come along.

Rep. Samantha Lefebvre

The Leadership Summit is meant to develop leadership vision and skills for young women, said Rep. Samantha Lefebvre (R-Orange), who was elected to the Vermont House in November 2020. Financial assistance is available. The gathering will feature thousands of female student activists between the ages of 15 and 26. Students who attend this retreat will hear from guest speakers, receive first-class activism and leadership training, and participate in a series of networking events with political leaders and top-tier activist organizations.

A video of the 2019 event is billed as the “largest conserative womens’ event ever” and shows speakers like former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and Judge Jeannine Pirro.

“Attending TPUSA’s Young Women’s Leadership Conference was an incredible experience,” KayleighBroyles, now a juniorat SyracuseUniversity, said. “Being surrounded by like-minded conservative women was empowering, and gave me many examples of confident women to look up to. It was reassuring to know there are countless other conservative women out there and the conference gave me a place where I didn’t have to worry about being judged and could comfortably share my beliefs.”

Broyles met Nikki Haley and former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. “TPUSA did an amazing job providing strong female speakers that young girls can look up to, and attending the conference is something I would highly recommend to any young conservative women,” she said.
