Mid-Vermont Christian School is a private Christian school located in White River Junction. The varsity boys program began competing in Vermont division 4 basketball in 2011 after previously competing in Christian school leagues. Rivendell is the high school for a bi-state public school district – the only one in Vermont – formed in 1998. It serves Orford NH and the Vermont towns of Vershire, Fairlee and West Fairlee.

Last month, the Mid-Vermont girls’ basketball team made national headlines when it chose to forfeit a game against Long Trail rather than play against a team with a 6’2″ biological male player.

  1. God does not take sides, but I am strongly rooting for this small school who stands out among all others for their Christian principles and values, not only in speech but in actions. You are indeed an inspiration and a quality example for this wayward day and age.
