St. Johnsbury police say a 34-year-old local woman has been arrested after allegedly robbing the Domino’s Pizza restaurant at gunpoint Thursday evening.

Police responded at about 7:07 PM on July 30 to Domino’s Pizza at 250 Railroad St. for a report of an armed robbery. Investigators said the suspect, later identified as Jennifer T. Ricker, 34, of St. Johnsbury, displayed a firearm before taking money from the cash register and fleeing the scene.

Officers used security camera footage from outside the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center to identify a woman matching the suspect’s description walking away from the restaurant. Police said they identified the suspect as Ricker from the video.

A Vermont State Police K-9 team was called to assist and tracked the suspect from clothing reportedly left near the scene to a vehicle on St. Mary’s Street, where Ricker was taken into custody.

Ricker was charged with assault and robbery and petit larceny. She was ordered held without bail at the Northeast Regional Correctional Complex and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday, July 31, at 12:30 PM in Caledonia County Superior Court.
