Cops seek man who threw a fit in store

By VDC staff

Police are seeking a man who allegedly yelled at employees of a store in the Berlin Mall Sunday.

Officers responded April 19 to Five Below for a report of a disorderly male. According to police, the man became upset when an employee did not immediately comply with his request to dispose of trash, as there was no trash bin available near the registers.

Police said the man began yelling and using vulgar language in front of customers, escalating the situation. An employee reported feeling unsafe and left the store out of fear of being assaulted.

The man then disposed of his trash in a cleaning bucket not intended for garbage before leaving.
