Windsor County GOP endorses Trump With 54-0 vote

Trump foe McGovern resigns as chair

by Aaron Warner and staff

The Windsor County Republican Committee Saturday replaced an anti-Trump chairman and voted 54-0 in support of Donald Trump as the 2024 GOP presidential nominee.

The county committee voted unanimously for a resolution that included this language:

“The growing Republican grassroots movement is holding the line for conservative beliefs and values in Southern Vermont. Windsor County Republicans are taking the lead once again in Vermont. On this day, the 16th of March, 2024, we are keeping with the tradition of supporting a winner. We, hereby formally Endorse and Support the presumptive Republican Presidential Nominee, Donald J. Trump, for President of the United States!”

Since last fall, the county committee has been embroiled in a struggle to replace now former chair John McGovern, a longtime GOP activist, official, and candidate who strongly opposes the candidacy of Donald Trump. Saturday’s votes followed a court decision last week that allowed the meeting to go forward.

The meeting saw 75 attendees and 54 delegates from 13 of the county’s 14 towns organized with town committees. The delegates elected the following officials:

County Chair: Lynn Baldwin, Ludlow.

Vice Chair: August Murray, Weathersfield.

Secretary: Kelly Spaulding, Chester.

Treasurer: Peggy Dionne, Windsor.

Finance Chair: Roy Spaulding, Chester.

Committeeman: Earl Dionne, Windsor.

Committeewoman: Andrea Murray, Weathersfield.

Delegate at Large: Joe Josselyn, Ludlow.

Platform Delegate: Mike Todd, Weathersfield.

Alternate State Delegates: 1 Mike Todd, Weathersfield. 2 Peggy Dionne, Windsor. 3 Joe Trottier, Hartford. 4 V.L. Coffin, Cavendish. 5. Kevin Blakeman, Sharon.

Despite several articles from Valley News reporter Jim Kenyon (also in attendance at the Saturday meeting) which attempted to cast Mr. Murray and Mrs. Baldwin in a negative light as “MAGA” and quasi-insurrectionists, the Committee kept the focus on party process and rules of order on behalf of its members. A growing number of conservatives have come out to make their voices heard in Windsor only to find ongoing drama revolving around McGovern’s anti-Trump, and, at times pro-Democrat actions.

McGovern, a Windsor resident, has enjoyed a leadership role within the GOP for some twenty years, including a run to unseat long-time Senator Bernie Sanders. A young Paul Dame, now state committee chair, was his campaign manager at that time.  Since Trump’s political ascendancy, McGovern has been outspoken in his opposition to the former president and three-time candidate.

Among McGovern’s eleven donations to Act Blue since 2020, one was given to Raphael Warnock’s campaign and another to a campaign declaring to defeat Republicans.

After McGovern delivered a resignation speech the committee re-elected Baldwin as chair and Murry as Vice Chair with a similar vote of confidence. Delegates for 13 of the 14 organized towns in Windsor unanimously voted in favor of the new direction for Vermont despite having been encouraged by Governor Phil Scott to oppose a Trump nomination in favor of Haley.

  1. “Among McGovern’s eleven donations to Act Blue since 2020, one was given to Raphael Warnock’s campaign and another to a campaign declaring to defeat Republicans.”

Wow. After reading that paragraph it’s not surprising that Dame supported him….

When are they going to do this to Paul? Phil?

  2. Well now, that chapter is closed. The new chapter has to be about burning shoe leather by going door to door and letting Vermonters know the your local GOP has a solid plan to return our states to a condition of financial stability, peace, prosperity and liberty.

  3. Paul Dame, Phil Scott, and John McGovern are but some of the operatives out there with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Let us not forget Tom Arnold who, despite Trump receiving nearly half of the Republican votes in the recent VT Republican primary, a primary skewed by Democrat cross-over voters, boldly commented a few days ago that Trump was “overwhelmingly rejected by Vermont’s electorate”.

“Who cares?”, indeed. Guess again. Clearly Windsor, VT Republicans care – despite the misinformation put forth by some and the implied intimidation of ‘doing everything it takes to stop Trump’ levied by Governor Scott.

As an independent, I stand with Windsor County Republicans. And I hope other independents can see the urgency of doing likewise.

    • Re: “Trump got spanked in 2020, 30.7% of the General Election votes despite winning the primary with 87% of vote!!

Trump only got 30% of the vote in the 2016 General Election in Vermont.

      Clearly rejected!!

Romney got 31% of the Vermont General Election votes in 2012.
In 2008, McCain got 30.4% of the Vermont General Election votes.

Don’t let primary election results cloud your reasoning.

There is no correlation between the percentage of Vermont Republican Presidential Primary votes received and the percentage of Vermont Republican Presidential General votes received.

Let’s get back to winning Local Elections!”

More false dichotomy, Mr. Arnold. The primary results are encouraging me. Will Trump win in Vermont this year? Likely not. And neither will Nikki Haley, Mitt Romney, or John McCain (RIP).

Who else do you have in mind today?

“33,155 republicans (46%) voted for Trump in the recent primary. Haley received 50% of the republican primary vote. This in a State in which democrats outnumber republicans by more than a two to one ratio.

Meanwhile, Biden underperformed with 56,917 VT democrat primary votes (fewer than 60,000 in total), compared to more than 70,000 VT republican votes.”

It’s only March. The tide is turning. Even against the odds of Governor Scott’s never-Trump contingent. Clearly, people care about our failed education system, property taxes, the border malaise, inflation, deficit spending, foreign wars, and the ability to defend ourselves as law enforcement is hog-tied by the judicial system.

And it’s time to support them.

    • I admire windsor county republicans for standing up and doing what is right for vermont for America..

I have been sick at heart over the attacks against president Trump by our own GOP.

These attacks continue today by Paul Dame, governor Phil Scott, Patty McCoy the minority speaker of the house and many others that claim to be republicans but exposed themselves as rinos when they signed on with Patty McCoy and governor Scott to attempt to remove president Trump from office early so they could get on with their support of Joe Biden and the destruction we witness everyday in America under this destructive administration that supports the invasion of America by illegal immigrants and has no problem attempting to stifle the constitutional rights of the people in America.

I’m sick of the censorship of the republicans don’t want to speak out unrepublican pages but when you speak the truth about the candidates you are blocked..

I truly thank God for these people they have backbone enough to begin to build the republican party we so desperately need in the state of vermont.

And thanks to everyone that supports doing the right thing for our state and for our country..

I don’t know how anyone could possibly denounce president Trump when he did such good things for America..

Trump never took our rights away before. Once Joe took office, he took our rights away:
      -forced vax
      -forced to go EV
-forced to give up gas stoves
-forced to put up with our border invasion
      -forced to wear masks
      -forced higher prices
-forced to deal with sexual predators in our schools
-forcing females to compete against males
      -forced military wokeness
      -forced to finance Ukraine
-forced to pay higher housing costs
-forced to pay higher healthcare premiums
-forced to deal with lack of food at stores
-forced to see our president prosecuting those who don’t agree with him
-forced to see our Executive branch lie & jail Americans that don’t agree with them

And many more rights taken away from us.

      Prove me wrong!

  4. Proud of and thankful for my friends in Windsor County who refused to back down to Dame and the VTGOP members who supported McGovern despite the 28 – 0 vote for Lynn Baldwin in January. Dame would not accept that vote and reinstalled McGovern as Chair.
This is what it is going to take in the other 12 County’s in VT. Way past time for real conservative and Republican Vermonters to step up for Pro Life and Constitutional values.

Those that support Scott and the 24 VT GOP Representatives that voted for H89 have betrayed Conservative Vermonters.
Their vote with the marxists in the Legislature bent on destroying babies in the womb, children of all ages, the Family Unit and removing God from everything prove who’s side they have chosen.
And it isn’t with Conservative Vermont Parents who will fight to protect their children.

Congratulations to the Windsor County GOP and all those Dutifully Elected.
The 54 – 0 vote to endorse Trump proves they are tired of watching America being attacked from the inside.
Trump is not without fault, but unlike Biden and those who support him, Trump actually cares about Americans.

  5. Vermont’s so-called Conservative leadership positions are nothing more than liberals
stating they’re Republicans………………. Vermont GOP is infested with spineless leaders

Then we have the Governor ” what a joke ” stating do not vote for Trump, hey Phil
keep your thoughts to yourself, I’ll vote for whom I want, and that will be DJT !!

If Phil Scott’s name appears, in Vermont races, you a ” NO ” from my family, as you are as feckless as Joe Biden when it comes to leadership!!

Windsor County, thanks for blazing the trail to help save the state & country from all the progressive nonsense, killing the state & the nation.

  6. Trump was ranting the other day about putting tariffs on cars to punish manufactures from building in Mexico. This will increase the costs to buy a car. Just another form of government’s control over the means of production (socialism). D or R, they all want to make your life more unaffordable. Your existence is being punished. The Republicans are just as miserable and unqualified as the Democrats. We are doomed.

    • Or maybe you should understand that building vehicles in America would create jobs for Americans and those who build them in other countries for cheaper labor are hurting Americans.
The reason for the tariffs is to protect Americans.

    • The point missed here is that Trump was ‘ranting’ about the Chinese who are subsidizing the referenced car manufacturing plants in Mexico and, most importantly, that Ameicans will lose their jobs in the process (i.e., the economic ‘bloodbath’). It won’t matter how cheap a car is, we won’t be able to afford to own one, … not a car, not your land and home, not the shirt on your back…. which is the intent of Klaus Schwab of ‘new world order’ fame. “You’ll own nothing and be happy.”

    • @jim sexton, unfortunately that is not how economics works. It would be nice if it was that simple! Tariffs WILL benefit one group over another group for sure, but *overall* it destroys wealth and hurts the poor/middle class.

If you want to encourage job growth, you would want to remove all restrictions and government imposed costs with building jobs instead of creating these easy “fixes”. You would want to make sure that removal of restrictions also invites new industries to emerge that otherwise wouldn’t be able to compete. There is plenty of Americans that would love to afford an American built car. For example, lets say you wanted to build a super BASIC mechanical 40mpg little production car, and start your own car company in the U.S.A. to build them right now. You wouldn’t be able to sell one single unit with all current car industry lobbied restrictions.

If the magic “government created jobs” WERE to appear, it may indeed temporarily benefit the American factory worker and government / special interest groups, but in the long term the American factory worker will still be hurt by these schemes through the new mini boom/bust now created by the forced new use of money, that otherwise would have been ours to spend on value creation.

Problem/Reaction/Solution. Government imposes costs lobbied by the big industry looking out for their monopoly interests. The people react to the loss of jobs and other government caused economic destruction. The goldfish-memory people beg the government to give them magic “fixes” by the force of government decree. The cycle continues.

    • This is about identity. Trump has his TAMPONS (
Tyrannical: Reflecting authoritarian tendencies and a disregard for democratic principles. Aggressive: Demonstrating confrontational and forceful behavior in promoting their beliefs. Misinformed: Being influenced by misinformation or false narratives. Polarizing: Contributing to division and discord within society. Obstinate: Showing stubbornness and refusal to consider alternative viewpoints. Narcissistic: Suggesting self-centeredness and an excessive admiration for Trump’s persona. Self-serving: Acting in self-interest rather than considering the broader welfare of society.) pushing the losing TWATS strategy.
Trump – running on Trumps shrinking coattails is detrimental to a Vermont General Election candidate.

Wall – running migration and building a wall is detrimental to a Vermont General Election candidate.

Abortion – abortion is a settled issue in running on removing it more the State’s constitution is detrimental to a Vermont General Election candidate.

Transgenders & BLM – are not key issues for most Vermont voters, move on

Stolen Election and Anti Gov Scott- Majority of Vermonters believe the stolen election narrative is false.

    • Mr. Arnold:
Misinformed, Obstinate, Narcissistic, etc., etc.? Please. Let’s talk about issues instead of following the Progressive ‘Saul Alinsky’ playbook.

Authoritarian tendencies? – as in what you and Phil Scott mean by ‘do everything they can to stop Trump’? Everything? Really? Lawfare? Incarceration? Or worse?

How about that border wall thing. No problem with being ‘illegal’ , right? Just today….

“Haiti migrants carrying guns, night vision tech and drugs arrested off Florida coast”. – – msn.com

“Since October 1, 2023 the number of encounters and apprehensions in the Swanton Sector (NH, NY, VT) has surpassed the totals in 2021 and 2022 combined.” – – Seven Days

Oh, but hey, I apologize. They’re not ‘illegal’. They’re ‘undocumented immigrants’. Just ask Laken Riley’s family.

Demonstrating confrontational and forceful behavior? How dare they complain about a monopolized public school system that promotes gender dysphoria, attacks family and parental rights, and bankrupts Vermont taxpayers? Never mind that more than half of Vermont’s high school graduates don’t meet grade level standards in reading, writing, math, or science. Just ‘move on’? To where? To that high paying job that comes with a high school diploma?

Stolen elections? How can anyone prove the elections were stolen? They can’t do it. Then again, how can anyone prove the elections *weren’t* stolen? Just ask your Town Clerk how he or she verifies the signatures on the mail-in ballot envelopes they receive. Ooops. I forgot. They don’t verify signatures. They don’t have any signatures on file, even if they wanted to verify them.

“Trump has his TAMPONS.”?? Ohhh… that’s not a disrespectful, sexist, misogynistic, characterization now, is it? At least it’s not Misinformed, Obstinate, or Narcissistic – or is it?

Your true colors, Mr. Arnold. Yours.

    • Mr. Tampon now I guess…..we so agree…

      if we could only just:

      jail Trump,
      jail his voters,
      end the electoral college,
      stack the supreme court,
      adopt United Nations law,
adopt health mandates of the WHO,
      ban voter id,
      censor the internet,
allow an invasion of our country,
      force reparations,
      disarm our citizenry,
      censor speech,
      not allow citizens easy self-employment,
Jail dissenters and those who speak out,
not allow our children freedom of education…

      We could save democracy……..

    • Re: “If you want to encourage job growth, you would want to remove all restrictions.”

Tell that to the Chinese and Mexican governments, VermontVermonter. What Trump’s tariffs do is maintain the level playing field in which a free-market economy can thrive. The tariffs simply insist that if you want to join a true free market, be a free market. If you think the Chinese economy, with its enslaved Uyghurs, and the Mexican economy run by gangs and drug cartels, qualify as a free market, I suspect you are the one who doesn’t understand how economics works.

What Trump’s tariffs do is simply say to the Chinese and Mexicans, if you’re going to steal and cheat, the American people don’t want to play your game… which should tell you something about the sensibilities of the Biden/Obama crowd and the Never-Trumpers struggling to think well of themselves despite they’re economic ignorance.

    • BTW: You also misunderstand the Mises Institute article you cited. There is no question that tariffs, in a free-market setting, are counterproductive. But, again, we’re not talking about a free-market setting when the Chinese and Mexican governments are in play.

Keep in mind that ‘free markets’ prescribe that we are free to choose with whom we do business.

“The key insight of Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations is misleadingly simple: if an exchange between two parties is voluntary, it will not take place unless both believe they will benefit from it. Most economic fallacies derive from the neglect of this simple insight, from the tendency to assume that there is a fixed pie, that one party can gain only at the expense of another.” – – Milton Friedman

There is nothing remotely ‘voluntary’ in the Chinese or Mexican Cartel economies.

    • @H. Jay Eshelman – I agree that the free market doesn’t exist in today’s world. Relative to other countries, as terrible as our federal reserve ponsi scheme is, other countries are doing what we do 10 times worse. This allows us the luxury of outsourcing some of our destruction to other countries (we are at the top of the pyramid). Utilizing tariffs for protectionism isn’t a new idea, and it very well may help “level the playing field” at the cost of destruction of wealth and increase costs to the people that can afford it the least. This act will not be beneficial to anyone but the oligarchs is the point. This is a temporary perceived “fix” to a much more fundamental issue.

The best we could do is fix our own system and use the newly gained wealth to have more choices. Lead by example. There are many people that can’t afford these choices to not support foreign countries that they don’t agree with. Increase wealth of the middle class, and new industries can emerge where consumers can buy from the country of their choosing. People are too poor to care if their products are made with slave labor or made in unethical countries. They are just trying to survive their next tax increases, which a tariff is.

      https://mises.org/mises-wire/whos-protected-tariffs

    • Re: “I agree that the free market doesn’t exist in today’s world.”

Wait a minute. I didn’t say that. The free market does exist. In many places. Especially here in the U.S.. And Trump’s tariffs are intended to protect it. On the other hand, there is no doubt that the Biden/Obama/Never Trump contingent is doing everything it can to eliminate free markets. But they haven’t succeeded yet. If Biden or one of the other deep state surrogates is elected in November, free markets will be in even more trouble. But we haven’t crossed that Rubicon just yet.

Re: “Utilizing tariffs for protectionism isn’t a new idea, and it very well may help “level the playing field” at the cost of destruction of wealth and increase costs to the people that can afford it the least.“

This is a classic false dichotomy. A false premise. What is your basis for saying that a ‘level playing field… increases costs to the people that can afford it the least“? Compared to what? The CCP or the Mexican Cartels?

Is it protectionism when you prevent a burglar from stealing from you? Is it protectionism when you seek legislation that allows you to choose the education you believe is best for your children? Is today’s education monopoly lowering costs?

You are again missing Friedman’s point.

“Most economic fallacies derive from the neglect of this simple insight, from the tendency to assume that there is a fixed pie, that one party can gain only at the expense of another.”

    • @H. Jay Eshelman – Unfortunately it isn’t a false dichotomy, it’s an economic fact based off relatives of how mathematically, resources allocation works in a given environment. What people in society do with their choices cannot be predicted, however if marginal utility is true, than effects of manipulation must also be true. There is no free lunch. I know it’s very confusing because we haven’t been raised to understand basic economics. Maybe that linked article can help explain it to you better than my personal perspective.

Basically, if the people continue on the path of thinking free markets mean government coercion/manipulation of every aspect of our lives, we will never fix the fundamental issues, and with democrat and republican socialism schemes, suffer and die at rates higher than would otherwise exist in a free market. Protectionist tariffs are loosely just another form of soviet era price fixing.

    • Re: “People are too poor to care if their products are made with slave labor or made in unethical countries.”

What a callous and demeaning thing to say about anyone… even ‘poor’ people.

    • Re: Your citation to Henry Hazlitt

I’ve read much of Hazlitt’s work. And, without exception, his premises are never based on the comparison of one company, or one country, one with employment at will, the other with forced labor. Not once does he address the civil inalienable rights of an individual to decide where and for whom the individual chooses to be employed… or not to be employed, especially when compared to slavery.

And you will find his arguments to be incongruent…if you take the time to read them. On one hand he goes to great lengths to describe the counterproductivity of tariffs. On the other, for example, he says; “In the long run, notwithstanding the mountains of argument pro and con, a tariff is irrelevant to the question of employment.”

Hazlitt goes on to say that his “argument is not directed against all tariffs, including duties collected mainly for (tax) revenue, or to keep alive industries needed for war; nor is it directed against all arguments for tariffs.” However, he again digresses when he extorts “the fallacy that a tariff …. protects the American standard of living.”

Perhaps this is mere semantics. But again, Trump’s tariffs are not intended to protect a given standard of living, but to protect the American way of life, to protect the free market, with all of its inevitable inequities, from the totalitarian forces that have always sought to control the individual.

“Whenever I hear anyone arguing for slavery, I feel a strong impulse to see it tried on him personally.” ― Abraham Lincoln

  7. Look at that! If all those people donated just $100, they would be stronger than the entire VTGOP!!!!

Therea are 112,704 other Republicans that support these people.

What the TWAT people will say is…..you can’t do this and win. My suggestion to him is that these people know well that Trump is hated in our socialist state and would be smart enough to focus on Vermont events, while at the same time supporting one of the few leaders in Vermont that doesn’t want us governed by the United Nations and some other NWO pimps….

But of course they will say, you’ll never be elected, even though they lose for 20 years straight, have no money, have not votes and have no support. That meeting was bigger and more producive than the swamp rat Haley had with our traitor governor.

    Well done people well done.

FBI Arrests #1 Most Wanted Criminal Pepe The Frog U.S. — After a national manhunt spanning all 50 states and several years, the DOJ has announced the arrest of its #1 most wanted criminal, Pepe the Frog. “Pepe has been an existential threat to democracy for a long time,” said Attorney General Merrick Garland. “He has become the figurehead for people who share inappropriate meme content and unapproved opinions on the internet. The world is a safer place with this criminal behind bars.” “I shudder to think what kind of memes would have been shared if we hadn’t caught him when we did.” Among several other charges, the frog is being held on 7,439,600,213,000 counts of criminal menace, 436,007,924,332,141,572,499,022 hate crime charges, and 563,745,743,153,001,377 counts of stochastic terrorism. “I’ll sleep easier knowing that I’ll never have to see another Pepe meme in the replies to my videos where I announce I’m indicting Trump again,” said Garland. “His face haunts my dreams.” “Humor and fun have long been tools of fascism,” said Salon journalist Rezz Thivins. “Pepe will finally face justice for his treasonous memes. It’s about time.” Authorities are warning of copycats on the internet, and are calling people to report any Pepe-related content they see online. At publishing time, authorities had sadly reported Pepe killed himself in his cell while the security cameras were turned off.

  9. 54-0 – I guess that means the Windsor GOP is not buying what Dame, Scott & VT Rinos are selling. Could it be the stench of The Biden, Liz Cheney & Daddy, Nikki Haley, Ronna Romney-McDaniel, George W., Lindsay Graham, and Turtle McConnell is seeping into the Green Mountain State conscienceness? The platforms and glaring failures of the establishment is quaking and falling apart. Hallelujah!

  10. There is hope for Vermont. I hope this works its way all the way up the Vermont Republican Party.

  11. Amen! Time to Stand and be counted. 🇺🇸! Thank You Windsor County Republicans!

  12. This is the beginning of change.

The question is are we going to support the young, sprouted plant of freedom?
What will the VTGOP due to quash these efforts?
Will another group, working together, harmony build a similar county group?
Will others network and find like-minded people? (it’s easy there are lists)
Will they avoid the triggers and traps of the uniparty? (fighting neighbors)
Will they counter Lies, Division and Destruction w/ Truth, Forgiveness & Harmony?

They can easily win the will of the people if they focus on issues of Vermont and lovingly speak the truth.

Our problems are all self-created, good news, we only need to change direction.

    God Speed.

  13. The 54 – 0 vote tells a true story. No demoncRAT crossover votes this round. AND the pied piper must have gotten the other RATS the RINOs to leave town.

  14. MAGA! Trump all the way! Lest get rid of these radical progressives who destroy everything they touch. “The United States has successfully confronted Marxist attempts to derail it from its historic path of liberty and order. The multifaceted effort to defeat the enemy, generally referred to as the Cold War, concentrated many of the best minds in the country. In 1991, when the Soviet Union dissolved, many Americans and others around the globe justifiably believed that communism had been defeated. However, American Marxists, making use of the complacency that victory often produces, have gained more influence than ever before. Cloaking their goals under the pretense of social justice, they now seek to dismantle the foundations of the American republic by rewriting history; reintroducing racism; creating privileged classes; and determining what can be said in public discourse, the military, and houses of worship. Unless Marxist thought is defeated again, today’s cultural Marxists will achieve what the Soviet Union never could: the subjugation of the United States to a totalitarian, soul-destroying ideology.” Authors: Mike Gonzalez and Katharine Gorka.

    • Someone has been paying attention and fully comprehends the trail of slime the marxists have left in America and Vermont.
Lying to create fear and division under the pretense of social justice, inclusion and equity. Except anyone capable of cognitive thought can destroy any argument the
” tolerant and accepting ” left use.
Tolerant and accepting of only those who swallow the lies and comply with the agenda.
Turning not only on conservatives and christians but also each other if they dare think for themselves.

Make sure you understand pretending includes those who use the label Republican while voting with and supporting the marxists agenda to destroy babies in the womb up to the moment of Birth and children of all ages.
Scott and 24 VT GOP State Reps voted for H89. They have betrayed conservative Vermonters and every Parent that would fight to protect their child.
      Dame supports all of them.

The other 12 Counties in VT have been shown the light.

  15. The media controls the state’s voters’ minds. Without an honest media in Vermont the real news is censored. The Vermont media protects the progressive lie. WDEV has just been purchased by a republican leaning former candidate. He can do much good if he has the guts to reject the Trump Derangement Syndrome. There are two statements I’ve never heard from the mouths of RINOs, Progressives, democrats and the media talking heads, I’m sorry and I we were wrong. We have at least 3 decades worth of they were wrong.

  16. Has Deploy Malloy sealed his fate by endorsing Trump?

He doesn’t miss a photo op. He’s been quiet around here.

    • Seems you have a really bad case of TDS….

You’ll need to get off VT Digger, VPR and 7 Days……all MSM.

Perhaps try Whatfinger News. Facts and an understanding of Republic vs. Democracy do wonders in understanding what is going on.

    • Mr. Arnold has a penchant for throwing insults at Conservative Vermonters who actually value their principles and morals.
Ironically despite all the time and effort he casts aspersions, not once has he actually defended Dame, Scott, or the 24 VT GOP Representatives that betrayed every Conservative Vermonter with their vote to support the marxists and H89.
As a matter of fact, Mr. Arnold has not written one sentence in defense of anything Scott or the VTGOP has done.

How can he ? Their actions are indefensible.
But you know what he is really good at ?
Attacking Gerald Malloy and every Pro Life Constitutional Vermonter.

His gloating over Gerald losing to Welch ignores the most basic of facts.
Gerald defeated Ms. Nolan in the primary. You remember Ms. Nolan, the VTGOP supported her and endorsed her. She supports abortion thru the 2nd Trimester,
( over 99% of all abortions in VT are in the first and second trimester ) and she vowed to fight to codify Roe V Wade if she had been elected.
Well despite her stances, or more likely because of them, Gerald defeated her.
Proof that Vermont voters who are actually Conservative would not support another candidate who claimed to be Republican, but actually supported the marxists.
Mr. Arnold’s one track argument against Gearld is that Welch defeated him.
What Mr. Arnold won’t say is that 20% of Registered Republican Vermonters voted for Welch. Sour grapes because Gerald defeated Ms. Nolan or because they don’t adhere to the VTGOP Platform ?
Doesn’t really matter, what does matter is that people like Mr. Arnold have sold out. His allegiance isn’t with Vermonters sick of the uniparty, it is with the 20% that voted for Welch.
According to Mr. Arnold, the key to getting into the legislature is to give up everything you believe is worth fighting for and join the marxists.

One more thing Mr. Arnold, Gerald isn’t doing any photo ops. He is traveling to every corner of the State meeting with people on their terms. Listening to their concerns and making their voices heard. Spending massive amounts of time and effort because he cares enough to step up.

Because of what the people in Windsor County have done I am looking forward to seeing Vermonters who have been shut out or ignored by Dame and the VTGOP step up and follow the lead of the new Windsor County GOP.
For all those looking for a light, the people in Windsor County have sent up a Supernova.

    • Jim, Are you familiar with Sun Tzu, the art of war? or perhaps the phrase “wiser than snakes more innocent than doves”?

The adversary we are dealing with needs to be handled with the respect and caution that has been able to pummel those speaking the truth. The ground upon which we play is very, very, very skewed to one side.

Yuri Bezmanov, videos I highly recommend watching, because he shows and tells the whole game plan and how they can be brought back to the light as God’s children. We are ALL God’s children, though some have been consumed by the wrong spirit. Yuri talks about not fighting a considerably stronger opponent head on, but instead using their strength (lies in this case) against them. In the case of abortion, you are not wrong, so why did we lose? We did exactly what our foe expected and wanted, and framed the conversation such that we look as the evil ones.

Instead…..if we expose the lies, they have to fight themselves and lose miserably in the court of public opinion. Let me explain.

What the law CLEARLY says is thus:

What is inside a woman is not a baby, it is a product of conception, POC (their words)
What the law clearly says is the state is in sexual control of your children.

Because the law states this, no man is on the hook for child support, because they didn’t create a child, they are only responsible for removing the POC, product of conception. This also applies to the state support of single moms.

This law also has complete state control of your child’s sex life and fosters a state program promoting child sex at a very young age.

Can you see how you are no longer having to fight? You’ve exposed the lies for what they are, and they cannot defend them. This stance would easily garner 80% of Vermont vote on that one topic.

David did not fight Goliath in a hand-to-hand battle. Please do not send out our men and women to be slaughtered. We have to be wiser than snakes and more innocent than doves.

  17. Tom Arnold are you using the word Twat, a derogatory term for a Woman’s genitalia, to convey your political angst. How offensive and demeaning to women. Unless that term has been multi-pronouned and defined differently
in the dictionary please refrain from hostilities to women .Interestingly the Tom Arnold I remember was married to Roseanne Barr. She makes a lot more sense.

    • Did you notice things were “changed” when I exposed the truth? I’m a bit disappointed, I was not using terms to put down people, but to expose the commentator to what he was doing. Glad you picked it up.

  18. I am Barre Pinske I became involved in the Republican Party and witnessed this whole debacle. I don’t think I have experienced something like this before the short sightedness of the Trump supporters is really sad. Republicans are a minority in Vermont and now these folks are fracturing that group even more by trying to exclude non Trump people. This group can huff and puff and act tuff just like a cornered rat that’s about to get clubbed with a shovel and that’s pretty much all they will accomplish. This group is not remotely in a position of power their candidates have been loosing elections and they are not making friends out side of Trumpers. It’s one thing to talk about why you are a winner it’s another thing to play the game. Nikki won here and Biden will carry Vt. If these folks can create a platform to bring to the State House, which I don’t think the can, they will need to make friends across the aisle to get things past. If they can’t get along within their own group how will they do that? They are going to make noise, they will field loosing candidates and after Trump looses they will fall apart. At that point new people will have to pick up the ball. I could be helpful I don’t want to hang out with these folks they are short sighted, combative, don’t understand politics and have little to offer in interpersonal relationships. It’s too bad we definitely need change but it takes people with smarts, talent and who can work with others to make that happen not a mob. This group is a more of a mob it’s easy to see that.

  19. I had read Tom Arnold’s Commentary before your exposure of his vial words.
Thank you Neil. I did notice the change due to your exposure .

  20. the actual truth of the matter is It makes no difference whether the politician is a republican or Democrate. For this State is still a Socialist Fascist Cabal owned and operated State and will be until the entire Satanist mass group; from the top tier to the last foot soldier is eradicated. Make no mistake this situation is Nation wide and if our military is unable to eradicate this scum of the Earth another French Revolution will have to take back our Constitutional Republic which was stolen in 1871 by a similar criminal Political Class. this time, history WILL NOT repeat it’s self.
