    • I’m not a Union man but I have been in a couple in my 55 yrs of working an I will leave just one observation. The working conditions and pay has declined for the average worker since the 70’s and the decline of the Unions.

    • Brian, in Blue States the Government has replaced the function of unions on many items such as wages, benefits and working conditions which were the major platforms of the early unions. Grew up in Miners and Construction unions family.

  1. We can only hope that those most adversely affected by a strike-related shortage are those who voted for Prop 3.

  2. Nothing threatens the food supply like launching a war that has choked off the world’s biggest fertilizer shipping corridor for eight months. If you think groceries cost more now, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

  3. John, your TDS has nothing to do with this article. Iran will gladly bring over your fertilizer with Sharia law if you’d like. I assume you voted for the mess that is to come, eh comrade? DSA, all the way, I believe is your motto?
