  1. Take a close look at this daycare story (the second in a matter of weeks after scott appointed a new DCF department head): my what power the DCF has to control a private cottage industry now. What was the real issue? Allegations of child abuse? that’s a matter for the criminal system. Regulatory compliance? That’s a matter for the parents to be well informed about so they can decide, but sounds like a bureaucratic quagmire. Shutting it down over the actions of one accused employee seems very strange.
