  1. Re Patrick Ibbotson, Ike Ben-David should question Sarah George, the various judges who release him, those judges who try to keep him confined but end up releasing him and Rep Martin Lalonde why the frequent offender law does not apply to him. And inquire who keeps posting bail. And here he is, talking to Ike, likely violating conditions of release by drinking an alcoholic beverage and even on camera. Patrick wants to be confined but he is smart enough to not rob a bank, etc. So he lives on the street, stealing to survive and drink. Maybe Ike should call up his father who is an attorney in Texas and ask what he thinks. He is easy to find on the internet.

Almost all the local Catholic churches are closed during the day except for Mass because of Patrick. Someone who works at St Joseph’s Cathedral in Burlington told me he comes by and tries all the doors, trying to get in and if he does get in, he will wreak havoc with prayer books, altar cloths, etc as he did at St Francis Xavier in Winooski. He burned down a building in Winooski. The list is endless. But re churches, so many folks in Vermont don’t believe in God so what do they care. Our Justice and mental help system’s chronic inability to deal with Patrick and others must be part of some chastisement of Vermont allowed by God because of our collective unbelief. Christopher Hitchens used to brag that atheists were “Brights”, indicating a superior level of intellect. Well, I am not seeing much evidence of superior intellect in Vermont in dealing with Patrick and others like him.

  2. Did you know in many states the machines are required to spit out a verification that it read your ballot correctly? Why are we not allowed to know that?
