The Vermont Covered Bridge Society (VCBS) will hold its Fall Meeting on Saturday, October 10, at the Tunbridge Town Hall. Registration is from 9:30 – 10:15 am, and the meeting runs from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm. The meeting is open to everyone who wishes to attend, and attendees are asked to RSVP by October 4.

Lunch will be prepared by the Tunbridge Historical Society. As in past years, the day will also include a swag bag, door prizes, a silent auction, and the drawing of our raffle for a vintage hooked rug and original covered bridge oil painting. Raffle tickets are still available from any VCBS Board member, the VCBS booth at the Tunbridge Fair, the Lunenburg Town Clerk’s Office, or any other festival where you see VCBS in September and October. Members wishing to donate an item for the silent auction or donate should reach out to vcbs.events@vermontbridges.org.

“I can’t imagine a better place to visit than the quaint town of Tunbridge during the height of Vermont’s fall foliage season,” states VCBS Events Chair, Gary Briggs. “And enjoying a day learning about Vermont’s historic covered bridges and feasting on lunch hosted by members of the Tunbridge Historical Society is a day well spent!”
