Thieves haul away wood pellets in rental van

Vermont State Police are investigating the overnight theft of multiple bags of wood pellets from Morrison’s Feed Bag in St. Johnsbury.

According to a news release, employees discovered the larceny when they arrived at the store Tuesday morning, December 9, around 8:41 a.m. Troopers determined the theft happened sometime overnight. Police say the individuals involved also unlawfully trespassed on the property.

No suspects have been identified.

State police from the St. Johnsbury Barracks are asking anyone with information to contact Trooper Adam Aremburg at 802-748-3111. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting VTIPS to 274637 (CRIMES) or submitted online through cityprotect.com/forms/state.vt.us/anonymous.
