Lyndonville store burglarized – Shortly after midnight on Sept. 1, troopers were dispatched to Nick’s Gas N Go after a burglary alarm sounded. When officers arrived, they discovered the front door glass smashed and a cash register missing. Security footage showed a man entering the store at 11:57 p.m. and fleeing just after midnight. The suspect was later identified as Dillon Hall, 32, of Lyndonville. The stolen register was recovered Sept. 2, and Hall was located that afternoon in St. Johnsbury. In addition to the burglary, Hall was found to be in violation of his parole. He was processed at the St. Johnsbury barracks, transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex, and issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on Sept. 3.

Landscapers confronted with baseball bat – In a separate incident in Eden, troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to a call on Ober Hill Road after members of a lawn care crew reported being threatened. Police say John K. Roessner IV, 54, of Eden, emerged from his residence with a baseball bat and confronted three men: Michael R. Shedd, 46, and Dakota Armstrong, 28, both of Wolcott, and Tyson Lissor, 41, of Hardwick. The workers left the property unharmed, and Roessner was cited to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court on Oct. 8.

  1. Looking at the list of drug offenders we see again ‘violation of conditions of release’ which means they were arrested before

  2. Drugs. It seems to be the problem in this state. Until prosecutors start doing their job, it won’t stop.
As Mr. Roessner of Eden. You, Sir, is why I conceal carry. Don’t bring the bat to a gun fight.

  3. But the commies in our legislature want to take OUR guns away…common sense is in no way common…I used to carry for four legged predators..now I carry for the two legged ones!
