The listings describe what farms have to offer and when these crops are available along with hours of operation.
Strawberry pick-your-own is in full swing now across the region.
Echo Lake Color Challenge, July 7

CHARLESTON — The Echo Lake Protective Association is excited to announce the return of the annual Echo Lake Color Challenge on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. This family-friendly event invites walkers and runners of all ages and abilities to participate in a colorful 5K out-and-back course alongside the stunning Echo Lake.
Throughout the course, participants will pass through five color stations where they will be showered with vibrant colored powder, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event. The Echo Lake Protective Association will provide sunglasses, white t-shirts, post-race snacks, and raffle prizes to all participants.
Registration fees for the 2024 Echo Lake Color Challenge remain the same as in previous years for those who pre-register. Individual registration is $15 per person, while day-of-event registration is $20. Teams of four friends, family members, or neighbors can register for $50, or $60 on the day of the event. Couples can register for $30, or $40 on the day of the event. All registration fees are non-refundable.
Participants can register online or by downloading and mailing a registration form from the Echo Lake Protective Association’s website.
Dobbs’ Decision 2nd anniversary picnic June 22
The event is sponsored by the Vermont Right to Life Committee and will feature games and prizes, informational tables, music, short speeches, hotdogs, BIRTHday cake and ice cream.
In addition, the Diocese of Burlington is holding a Respect Life Mass celebrated by Bishop-Elect, Monsignor John McDermott at St. Augustine’s Church in Montpelier at 10:30am on Saturday, June 22, 2024. All are welcome.
In case of rain the Dobbs Decision 2nd BIRTHday Picnic will be held in the St. Augustine Church Hall.
