No-one was injured when a school bus struck a pickup truck at an intersection in the Rutland County town of Chittenden Monday afternoon.

At 3:05 PM, state troopers were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash on Chittenden Road at the intersection of Mountain Top Road in Chittenden. A 2019 Thomas bus, driven by Deborah Erickson, 63, of Chittenden, had entered the intersection and struck the passenger side of a 2019 Ford Super Duty pickup truck driven by Jeffrey Spaulding, 70, of Chittenden.

No injuries were reported. All passengers involved were safe and unharmed. Troopers were assisted by the Chittenden Fire Department and Regional Ambulance Service. Road conditions were wet. The state police report does not say whether students were aboard the bus.
