Manley: No Kings: What else did they accomplish?

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

By Adam Manley

The people who participated in the “No Kings” rally demonstrated that they wish to Make America Great Again.

Let us discuss the issues that our neighbors put on display:

1) “I hate Trump”

I’m sorry about that.  I didn’t like his predecessor much, myself. However, Trump was elected President of the United States of America by both the Electoral College and by popular vote.  If you don’t trust the results of your local elections, you should get involved and start to ask questions about where those ballots are coming from and where those computer counting machines came from.

2) Trump is a King/Trump is a Dictator

I don’t think so, but he is pushing the limits of the executive branch.  In many people’s opinion, it is Congress that has overstepped its boundaries in recent decades by creating bureaucratic branches of government that have not been properly overseen by any elected leader.  They have operated unchecked, and have implemented spending and control policies that are not in the best interests of the well-being of the citizens.

As enshrined in the Constitution of the USA, there should be a balance of power between the three branches of government.  The President is the Executor, and rightly has full oversight over the bureaucracy.

The biggest pushback against Trump’s crackdown on unchecked government bureaucracy seems to be coming from the people who were being paid by those unconstitutional branches of government.  Are you one of them?

3) Immigration

I did a search on Google’s AI for “what is the etymology and history of the term reimigration”

Answer: “The term emigration has a complex history and two distinct, often conflicting, usages. Its etymology comes from the Latin remigrate, meaning “to return home,” and it has long been used in a neutral, academic sense to describe the act of moving back to a place of origin. In recent years, however, far-right groups in Europe and North America have co-opted the term to serve as a euphemism for forced deportations and ethnic cleansing. “

Aside: please note that the sources cited for this summary are well-known “Left Leaning” websites, such as wikipedia.  Also notice the bias exhibited in the AI response where it claims that “far-right groups…have co-opted the term”.  Although I hang out with right and far right people and sources, I have never heard the term used except by the far Left.

Many people are concerned about the welfare and human rights of those being deported by ICE.  That’s fair enough, and as someone with a Christian heritage, I might be concerned about the welfare of my fellow mankind.  However, the fears about deportations are not well-founded.

For starters, very few law-abiding people have been deported.  By all accounts I have heard so far, ICE has been spending vast amounts of time and resources in identifying only criminal and terrorist elements that came into our country illegally.

Secondly, can anyone point to a nation in the world today that has open borders?  I can not find one.  There is strong evidence to suggest that the entire program implemented by the Biden administration, and paid for by US Tax Dollars, was dreamed up by Globalist players in the UN and World Bank.  Those players include delegates from our adversaries, such as Russia and China.  Those same players may also be behind the propaganda that has caused so many people on main stream social media to blindly support open border policies.

Finally, there are tangible benefits to closing the borders and deporting the terrorists, criminals, and gang members.  Huge amounts of narcotics that have been making our people sick are being blocked and taken off the streets.  As far as the human trafficking I can only hope it comes to an end.  In our community, I see far too many recent immigrants working without benefits or a voice of any kind.  We can only hope that the 100’s of thousands of children who came here without protection and went missing have found safe haven.  At least the bleeding has stopped for now.

4) Another message I saw repeatedly was about Health Care.  It is abundantly clear that socialized health care was a miserable failure.  The only people it benefited were government workers.  Non-government insurance premiums more than quadrupled since “Affordable Health Care” was enacted.  Also since those regulations were put into effect, our choices for health care providers has almost vanished.  Practically the only health care provider left standing in Chittenden County is the government supported Fletcher Allen network.  This is a direct result of government control.  So, yes, I absolutely agree we need health care reform: We need to get government out of our health care system and allow free enterprise based health care again!

If laws needs to be reformed, and I might agree they do, then our leaders should reform the laws.  We can not operate lawlessly, and we can not allow foreign nations to dictate to us what our laws are.

Yes, I believe these folks that showed up want to Make America Great Again.  We just need to tell them it’s ok to love again.

And by the by, I will continue to bite my tounge about my belief that there is only one true King.

  1. One thing accomplished is the rallies took $279,000,000 out of the far left NGO coffers and highlighted far left lunatics including their signs the media couldn’t find for cameras calling for death of President Trump and VP Vance by any means.

    • I’m puzzled about their funding for advertising and marketing, too. Was it NGO funded, or did elected leaders use tax payer money from their legislative spending accounts? If you drew a map of the USA and plotted the locations of all of the ralleys, would there be a pattern? What legislative districts would they fall in? I could go on about this topic, including pictures, but I’m afraid I just don’t have resources to defend myself from political and legal persecution.

  2. The activist left is worried about all their collective losses over the last few years. They realize that they have lost the Executive Branch to a cogent, mentally-competent businessman who was not a career politician. They have lost the majority of the Supreme Court. They have lost the Legislative Branch. They have lost the majority of decent Americans because of the democrat party’s stance on hard-left ideas like open borders, flexible genders, a complete ignorance of law enforcement and for any legitimate consequences for criminal activity. They are just taking it out on the man at the top of the totem pole, using their usual name calling…king, nazi, fascist, authoritarian, orange hitler…and so we generalize and call the phenomenon Trump Derangement Syndrome.

    • Very succinct. Thank you. Trump may be, or not be, a “good person”. Nevertheless, he is savvy, and his policies are savvy.
Meanwhile, my own “healthcare provider” compelled me to leave a physician whom I’ve known for 30 years, in ofder to change my plan. If I didn’t agree, I wouldn’t receive dental coverage. Subsequently, they advance invasive procedures, whiich, so far, I’ve been able to fend off. Especially the monstrous Behavioral Health/Psychiatric/Pharmaceutical machinery. Trump’s budget cuts have affected countless people adversely. That is because of CEO’s and others in the healthcare industry who reduce services rather than their own incomes. In countless cases, such as mine, the “provider” tries to increase services for its own profit.

  3. I often fail to bite my tongue. Jesus Christ is King. Oops. I did it again.

    • Let’s restart a Revolutionary War or as some call it the English Second Civil War saying ‘No King But Christ’. Sorry Bernie

  4. How stoopid can the No Kings crowd be? Trump is a King. Trump is a dictator. If they ever picked up a history book, they would know that Trump would be the only dictator in the history of the world that didn’t disarm the citizenry. So, No Kings people why is it that the Commiecrats you vote for are always passing gun control and trying to ban citizens from owning AR15s? Because they know no war was ever won without the common foot soldier and his rifle and we are a threat to their power and control.

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The Communist Party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the Party”.
    Mao Zedong

“The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.”
    Tench Coxe

  5. Trump quote: “You know, we’ve cut drug prices by 1,200, 1,300 and 1,400, 1,500%.”
Wow! Sounds like a solution to the healthcare crisis.

Trump Quote: “We have over $17 trillion being invested now in the United States.” Let’s see the receipts, Donald. I wont hold my breath. I want to see signed contracts, not dubious claims.

Trump Quote: “Tariffs are bringing in $2 Trillion per day.”
    HAHAHAHA!!!!

Trump Quote: “We’re the only one in the whole world that uses them,” (referring to mail in ballots.) Not true.

Bible Quote: “For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God’s word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.” Trump is selling signed $1,000 bibles. Thank god for that eh?

Seems like trump has the biden-syndrome of not understanding reality. His supports don’t care so much, however, just like biden’s supporters didn’t care about his delusions. How original.

    • Here’s another deranged quote from Trump… they keep on coming. “The police commissioner, the head of police said, ‘If the president didn’t come in we would have lost Los Angeles.'” Fact: no the commissioner didn’t say that. I wonder why trump lied to reporters in the white house about that? He must be losing his marbles. Soon he’ll be using auto pen like Biden.

    • “Ad hominem fallacy (or ad hominem) is an attempt to discredit someone’s argument by personally attacking them. Instead of discussing the argument itself, criticism is directed toward the opponent’s character, which is irrelevant to the discussion.”

Nick, let’s talk about the real issues. The important issues. Things that matter to all of us. I’ll try not to criticize you for spelling God with a lower case g, or that the teachings in the bible have been handed down as a guide to get through hard times just like this for thousands of years. But Donald Trump isn’t really the issue: he’s just an innocent bystander of past events that are boiling over and he stepped on the hot seat. No different than Biden.

      Ok?

    • Adam, trump is the problem… If you want me to focus on the issues, can you please let me know how the price of drugs, or anything for that matter, can fall 1500%? If we agree with trump on that, we will all be fools. Either that or the drug companies will be paying us to take their drugs.
Tariffs are bringing in $2 trillion dollars a day. Our national debt is around $38 trillion. By now, trump should have spent the money on our debt instead of giving it to Argentina along with our soybean market.
$17 trillion in investment: the white house website lists “commitments” from other countries about investing in our country. Last I checked, that amount was $8 trillion, yet there were no signed contracts. And reporting from numerous sources identifies how few countries have committed anything at all.
Peddling bibles for profit: disgusting. If I were a religious man I’d be appalled. Not being a religious man, I think trump is laughing at them all the way to the bank.
It’d be great to hear your thoughts on the quotes listed above and why they should not be concerning about trump’s mental well being.

    • More proof TRUMP HATES AMERICA:

Quote: “The Cattle Ranchers, who I love, don’t understand that the only reason they are doing so well, for the first time in decades, is because I put Tariffs on cattle coming into the United States,” Trump said on Truth Social on Wednesday. “If it weren’t for me, they would be doing just as they’ve done for the past 20 years — Terrible! It would be nice if they would understand that, but they also have to get their prices down, because the consumer is a very big factor in my thinking, also!”

Oh, it’s sweet that he loves them. But unfortunate he doesn’t want them to think for themselves. If they would understand trump is right about everything.

Question: If the cattle ranchers are doing so well because of tariffs, why are they saying otherwise? Why do they not understand that they are better off now then they have been for decades?

Lastly, trump supporters, I hope you purchase that Argentine beef. Your dear leader thinks, and I quote: “Argentina is fighting for their life. Nothing is benefitting Argentina…. They have no money, they have no anything…. If I can happen to help them survive in a free world… I happen to like their president. They are dying.”

Well, there you have it: support argentina!!!! $50 billion american taxpayer dollars, the US soybean market, and now our beef industry. America firs…. After you, sweet Argentina..
