  1. The Vermonters Snelling is referring to have either passed on or moved away. Very few real Vermonters left here today. This State is no longer the Republic of Vermont as it stands today. The sole reason is the blatant disregard and circumventing our God given rights and our Constitutional rights. I blame every County Sheriff for allowing politicians and bureucrats to commit treason, crimes against humanity, and violating Constitutional Laws unabated. Phil has not upheld or defended Constititional rights. Phil, his administation, Condos, Donovan et al, and the Legislature should all be in jail.

    • Unfortunately, perhaps, Vermont Sheriffs are elected officials. They are the of the same ilk as the politicians you so despise. If you want to defend the Constitution, use it as its intended to be used. If your rights are infringed, sue the offender in Federal Court under the 14th Amendment.

  2. Governor Snelling was not popular with everyone. He also pushed through the largest tax increase in Vermont history (at that time), which made him very unpopular even with some Republicans. And if he said what the cartoon alleges, I’d be interested to know under what circumstances, to whom, and regarding what.
