Equity/CRT info meeting July 14 in Barre

Vermonter for Vermont Initiative (V4V) July 14 in Barre will host a public Townhall Informational on public schools’ teaching of Equity, also known as; Critical Race Theory (CRT), in the the classroom.  V4V is a organization started in December 2018 to educate all Vermonters on public policies coming from Montpelier and local government.

On Wednesday, July 14, at 6:30 pm five speakers will take to the stage at The Canadian Club on Rte. 14 in Barre for a two hour discussion on Critical Race Theory/Equity teachings in our schools. All of the speakers have experience with the public schools and with the introduction of CRT to our children. CRT is also being introduced in many of our public institutions and businesses. Proponents claims that it does not harm children, that CRT teaches equity and the true history of our nation. While opponents argue that CRT is destroying our children and making them think as racist, and pitting races and ethnic groups against each other.

Critical Race Theory teaches people that they are either oppressors or oppressed/victims! It’s been around since the 1970’s, being taught in many colleges across the nation and now it is coming to students of all ages. CRT is a product of the writings of the communist manifesto works of Karl Marx.

  1. “In a recent survey of over 1,100 registered voters, 69% of black respondents –
a higher percentage than for any other demographic group — said that parents should be able to use the tax funding of their child’s education for whatever placement best serves his or her educational needs. And when asked how the federal government should spend the $190 billion allocated for K-12 education in the various COVID stimulus packages, 66% of black voters — again, more than any other demographic group – said it should be used to advance school choice.”

When the majority of those to whom ‘woke’ assistance is targeted reject its premise, one would think reasonable logic would prevail. And because this persistent push to exploit minorities, in order to control them, and everyone else, is perpetrated by a specific mind set maintained in a monopoly setting, one solution continues to stand out above all others. School Choice.

  2. They should also address the climate change hoax which is being taught and has been for several years now in schools….teach the real science behind this which is how the resources are sourced and the damage that does for real. (where do lithium batteries come from and how are they made? – not with solar or wind energy that’s for sure! )
