Trump declares war on cartels: U.S. enters ‘non-international armed conflict’ in extraordinary escalation | 2 Oct 2025 | Donald Trump has declared war on drug cartels and notified Congress that the United States is now in a “non-international armed conflict.” The extraordinary escalation by the president follows a series of recent strikes on drug-smuggling vessels operated by “terrorist organizations” in the Caribbean. Trump’s declaration is intended to place an iron-clad legal framework around the military action. According to international law, a country may kill enemy fighters even when they pose no threat and detain them indefinitely without trial. Congress was notified about the declaration of war by Pentagon officials at a closed-door briefing on Wednesday. It refers to cartel members as “unlawful combatants” whose actions “constitute an armed attack against the United States.”
Trump admin says U.S. engaged in ‘armed conflict’ with drug smugglers after 4 boat strikes | 2 Oct 2025 | The Trump administration informed Congress Wednesday that the US is engaged in a “non-international armed conflict” with drug cartels. A Pentagon notice to lawmakers on several committees stated that “hostile acts” against Americans and allied nations led to the determination, the New York Times and Associated Press reported Thursday. President Trump had boasted about recent airstrikes eliminating four alleged Venezuelan drug smuggling boats in the Caribbean during a speech Monday at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia. “If you try to poison our people, we will blow you out of existence,” Trump said, referencing the sinking of ships allegedly smuggling cocaine and fentanyl into the U.S.
Mystery fleet of U.S. Air Force tankers crossing Atlantic stirs echoes of Iran strike ahead of secret military meeting| 29 Sept 2025 | Flight trackers have spotted a fleet of U.S. air tankers crossing the Atlantic just as Donald Trump prepares to meet with generals and admirals on Tuesday. Around a dozen KC-135R/T Stratotankers were making the journey on Sunday night, with several en route to RAF Mildenhall — a major Air Force base in England, open-source intelligence (OSINT) accounts reported on X. The presence of air tankers can indicate that the U.S. or Nato is addressing an urgent military requirement for fighter jet refueling capacity. The deployment carries ominous weight, according to three Defense Department sources — two former, one current — who spoke to the Daily Mail on condition of anonymity. Trump is meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday. The movement of the Stratotankers comes as Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth are preparing to hold a shadowy meeting of the nation’s top military leaders at Quantico, Virginia, on Tuesday.
Israeli navy intercepts boats attempting to break Gaza blockade and arrests activists | 2 Oct 2025 | Hundreds of Israeli police officers were deployed Thursday to the southern port of Ashdod to process some 450 international activists detained by Israeli naval forces hours earlier in the Mediterranean Sea, Israeli authorities said. FBI Bombshell: 274 agents sent to Capitol for J6, many later complained they were political ‘pawns’ | 26 Sept 2025 | The FBI secretly deployed more than 250 plainclothes agents to the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, an operation so disorganized it unleashed searing frustrations among many of the FBI’s rank-and-file that the bureau had lost its core competencies to “wokeness” and allowed its employees to become “pawns in a political war,” according to an after-action report kept from the public for more than four years. Scores of FBI agents and personnel — many from the bureau’s premier Washington field office (WFO) — sent anonymous complaints to the after-action team detailing how agents were sent into an unsafe scenario without proper safety equipment or the ability to identify themselves readily as armed officers to other police agencies, the report obtained by Just the News shows… The document has proven a bombshell to lawmakers, revealing for the first time that the FBI had a total of 274 agents deployed to the Capitol in plainclothes and with guns after the violence started but with no clear safety gear of way to be recognized by other law enforcement agencies working in the chaos of the riot.

Four of the five cards obtained by Fox Digital are stamped with a disclaimer reading, “PRESIDENT HAS SEEN,” while a fifth card detailing an ABC News reporter’s question to Biden during a press conference did not include that stamp.

All of the arguments made by the Trump administration seem to adhere to international standards regarding this “non-international armed conflict” with narco traffickers. It has been several years running that the annual death toll from street opioids has exceeded 100,000 Americans. If we care about the overdoses, the associated crime from junkies financing their habits and the violent methods invoked by the purveyors of the retail-level drug trade which are all frequently in the local news, it makes it easy to justify the response. No surprises here…just another campaign promise made and kept.
………”Trump declares war on cartels: U.S. enters ‘non-international armed conflict’ in extraordinary escalation”………The War Machine grinds on… Pathetic.
