ESSEX — Braver Angels, a grassroots national organization dedicated to bridging America’s political divide, will host a workshop for conservatives in liberal communities on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Essex Police Department.

Titled “Being Red in a Blue Environment,” the in-person session invites red-leaning individuals to discuss what it’s like to live in largely liberal communities. Participants will learn and practice skills for effectively communicating conservative perspectives and values while fostering mutual understanding.

A free lunch will follow. More information is available at BraverAngels.org or by contacting Learle-centers@braverangels.org.

  1. Get photographed, bios created, hit lists drafted, lol. After what the left did to non-vaccinated people, their attack on our Constitution and flooding this country with illegal immigrants (most documented) we can only laugh at them now. Bringing back COEXIST is not going to work. We stand for America. We Stand for the Constitution. The LEFT must move in this direction, period.

  2. Back in my corporate days, women were “encouraged” to attend sexual harassment seminars. We used to laugh about them…WE knew what SH was and felt that it should have been men attending. If only to educate them on how to recognize and adjust THEIR toxic behavior. What is being offered here reminds me so much of that. I have seen very little aggression or harassment from those who identify as Red….can’t say the same about the ones identifying as Blue. Maybe they could be taught how to accept that other’s are allowed to have differing opinions and how to control their aggressive behavior towards those that do. They might also include a lecture on main stream media and how to recognize when they (the public) are being controlled. Just saying.
