Attorney General Charity Clark Monday, May 5 joined 19 other attorneys general in filing a lawsuit against Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and other Trump administration officials to stop what the suit calls “the illegal dismantling of HHS”.

“Since taking office, Secretary Kennedy and the Trump administration have fired thousands of federal health workers, shuttered vital programs, and abandoned states to face mounting health crises without federal support,” Clark’s statement said.

The attorneys general argue that Secretary Kennedy and the Trump administration have robbed HHS of the resources necessary to effectively serve the American people, as directed by statute, and will be asking the court to halt further dismantling and restore key program operations.

  1. We can and should fire her in the next election. Maybe sue her for misuse of taxpayer funds and abuse of process? D Morrisseau

  2. Another day, another lawsuit. Vermont’s AG is putting yet another round in the cylinder in her attempt to outgun the Feds, on the Vermont taxpayer dime of course. I wonder when she will realize her pistol is more likely to hit us than it is to affect HHS.

  3. What a pathetic AG, Charity Clark another liberal with TDS, and is lock-step what ever the DemocRATs do, I always thought ” Blond Jokes ” were stupid, guess I was wrong and AG Clark proves , we need to boot her out !!

My God, where do we find these people, she may be book smart, but has no common sense , and we pay her $150k a year….. we’re getting screwed again !!

  4. The name Charity says it all. Look into those eyes, nothing in there

  5. Looks like Active Genius Calamity Clark is trying to drive all Vermonters to the crazy farm. She is a good girl with misguided intentions.

  6. Financial Reality has finally come to Vermont!

Vermont has lived way beyond its means for far too long while depending on Federal Monies to pay for a large portion of the state’s unrealistic spending.

It’s WAY BEYOND TIME to acknowledge our US Collective Debt Problem of having a deficit of OVER 36 TRILLION DOLLARS.

Vermont has chosen to give an abundance of HANDOUTS to the homeless, attracting homeless persons to come to Vermont to receive the taxpayer paid freebies. Vermont has also chosen to violate US Immigration Laws to harbor and attract illegal aliens to come to live in the sanctuary State of Vermont while giving out an abundance of taxpayer paid freebies.

This on top of ALL the ongoing wasted taxpayer monies spent on ALL the fear-mongering, extreme and unrealistic climate policies.

Now the US finally has a President who is enforcing common sense financial actions. He has committed to reduce out of control Federal Spending, Waste, and Programs; and to also reduce the Federal Deficit. Consequences have arrived for ALL states who have a spending problem!

The Vermont Government has created its own financial problems by making their own very poor choices. Vermont Elected Officials and especially AG Clark, needs to STOP deflecting and projecting the state’s financial problems onto the Trump Administration.

Take responsibility and find solutions! You are supposed to be leaders!

  7. I believe that HHS is going through a restructuring procedure to cut wasteful spending and redundancy. They are not dismantling the HHS. I would rather live in a restructured house than a dismantled one.

  8. Let’s be totally honest with each other on this topic. The action by our political activist A.G. has nothing to do with HHS. It is all about trying to block Trump and his administration. On who’s dime is she proceeding with the suit? Like Trump or hate him, he was elected as our President. Compare what these Progressives said and did under Biden with what they are doing now. I, for one, am really sick of these socialists. Since they hate our country so much, can’t we ship them to another country?

  9. I wonder if A.G. Clark would roll herself up in a little ball and roll away if she was not sueing someone ? Here a suit, there a suit everywhere a suit suit. I wonder how much tax payer’s money this litigeous lefty has blown on her TDS ?

  10. Take a deep dive into Charity Clarks’s campaign finance disclosures. You will plainly see who is greasing her wheels and palms. A majorty of loot coming from out-of-state of course! Interesting to note the number of alcohol makers, a foreign vaping maker, sports betting companies, a gun-control lobby, and highfalutin DC globalist lawyer and law firm listed. Tsk, tsk.

  11. Oh My! HHS is reorganizing as it does every four years per election. That deserves a lawsuit from Vermont? Because I guess Vermont doesn’t have enough of it’s own issues. How about maybe over seeing computer useage at state agencies who’d rather spar or insult the public, on state time, using state computers, rather than try assisting their patrons, the people paying their salaries. Seems to me there’s a clause in the books regarding computer useage. Mr. Kennedy is doing a fine job reorganizing a vastly corrupt institution in D.C. Perhaps Ms. Clarke should be searching within her own states borders rather than constantly playing politics on the peoples dime.

  12. The USA spends the most amount of $$$ on HEALTH CARE. than any other country in the world. WHY? (1.) Fraud (2.) Waste & worst of all, (3.) the entire HHS System is broken & serves mainly to create PROFITS for the Hospital Industrial Complex & the FDA.

THIS IS NOT A PARTISAN ISSUE

    • I neglected to include that besides being the most EXPEN$IVE… the HHS in the USA has the WORST Health Outcomes compared to all other Industrialized countries? Why are the Democrats not supporting an overhaul? What? To divide our Nation to help them win 2028?

Thank God we finally have a POTUS that doesn’t SERVE Big Pharma [*e.g., Reagan’s NVIDA 1986) & the corrupted Rockefeller Medicine that has co-opted our Universities & Health in the name of Philanthropy while making us sicker & stealing Billions.

The Liberals (and I use to be one until C19-scam) support of our current broken Health Care System reminds me of their not whispering a peep about the faux ‘Climate Change’ efforts of Philanthropath Bill Gates [but can hate on Elon Musk enough, who is saving tax payers Billions].

Yet, Billionaire Bill Gates? They have no complaints about this “Oligarch” who wants to dim our Sun & just so happened to fund the GoF Bio-weapon Research & the WHO ~ which enforced the Global-inoculation of a replicating spike-protein
~ All that happened, and all Senator Sanders on the Left can cry about is the need to assist the millions of disabled with “Long Covid” ~ denying the C19-VAX-injured ~ Which in effect is just a covert effort to protect Pfizer & Moderna (whether or not this in conscious or not, who knows).

The entire Left in the USA Congress has been bought out (Congress), and even some on the Right. Democrats have been brainwashed and captured by Big Pharma, the WEF Climate Hoax … It seems their minds have been hijacked by the Davos Global Zionists (which John Kerry & Al Gore have disgraced themselves supporting). What is it going to take for Welch, Balint, Sanders & Clark to wake up.

None of this is Rocket Science. It’s common sense at this point. The harm being inflicted upon our Health & our Planets Health should not be a Bipartisan Issue.

  13. When is Charity Clark going to end her frivolous lawsuits that the taxpayers in this state simply cannot afford? If she is doing this to enhance her resume’ on the taxpayer dime, I feel strongly that not only will it backfire on her, but it will only make this state even more unaffordable than it is presently.
