VT Headlines: Inclusive police recruiting
“VT Police Academy shifts to teach more inclusive practices to recruits” I guess that the failure of DEI to do anything positive anywhere else in the country means nothing to the management of the police academy . How about if you just accept, train, and promote the best candidates regardless of race, color, gender or creed ?

Why do we continue to promote racism through Marxist policies which end up emasculating and neutering our military and law enforcement? It’s a non-sequitur which cripples public and national security in the name of bowing and scraping to the shrill voices of the misguided and deceived.
How bout we make decisions of such import based on the content of people’s character and their fitness and qualifications for the job, instead of filling a quota on the basis of the color of their skin or the perversions they embrace? It would solve a lot of the stupidity.
At a time when the USA is firmly rejecting DEI and all that it involves, Vermont charges ahead. How’s that restorative justice working…..Burlington?
“If we embed diversity, equity, inclusion — everything we’re doing….”, should have added “…we’re being more irresponsible, more divisive, and more likely to get fewer cops on the street.”
What a pile of bovine fecal matter and monumental waste of time and money. There are only so many hours during a training academy. Schedules are tight and training time is incredibly valuable and expensive. Unless the academy is going to extend the training time, which costs every agency more money ( they have to pay the officers in training, back fill that trainee’s position with overtime coverage with existing officers, etc), then other training will need to be reduced or cut to accommodate the DEI curriculum.
How about dispensing with the DEI nonsense that benefits no one, and in fact probably jeopardizes the officers and increase the hands on training that will help the officers be able to deal with violent encounters more effectively so there are fewer injuries to officers and perpetrators.
But they won’t. The liberals can never admit their policies are are failures.
I watched a video from the UK showing “inclusive” bobbies trying to take a “new arrival” into custody. It was like watching a clip from the Benny Hill Show. One female officer, weighing as much as the offender’s leg, unleashed a can of spray right into the faces of the other officers shuffling around the suspect. The most burly male officer stood off to the side with that look of complete bewilderment. It went on for a long time as bystanders stood there filming the spectacle for all the world to see. The suspect just kept resisting, twisiting away, and walking away. The female “officers” yelling commands at him, waving a baton at him, laying hands on him with no force, purely paniced and stressing themselves out. Six bobbies couldn’t take one man into custody. Appears the same type of clowns will be policing our streets – the criminals appreciate the heads up.
Heads up? The baton upside the head (or even the shins) would have remedied the situation quickly and effectively.
Sound violent? What’s the point of carrying the weapon if there is neither the will to deploy it nor the knowledge of how and when to use it properly?
