The Supreme Court’s admission that Roe v. Wade was a mistake is leading countless women to realize their own abortions were mistakes. It’s also causing abortion workers to regret their career paths. Recently, a 40 Days for Life 365 campaign leader reported the first post-Roe abortion worker to convert and leave her job.
On this video blog, Shawn Carney, president and CEO of 40 Days for Life, talks with former abortion provider Dr. Haywood Robinson about the wound Roe v. Wade inflicted on the world–and the hope of redemption and mercy offered by Jesus Christ.
40 Days campaigns, which are also occurring in Barre, Rutland and Burlington (and some 600 other cities), include (1) prayer & fasting wherever that might occur, (2) a prayer vigil of public-witness from September 28 through November 6, in the vicinity of abortion clinics, and community outreach. The mid-campaign rally will be held Sunday, October 19 at St. Monica’s Church in Barre. The Final rally will be held Sunday, November 6.
The Barre campaign is held in the vicinity of the Planned Parenthood clinic off Washington Street. For information contact local coordinator Tom Kelly, thomaskelly.tom@gmail.com and 802-224-6309.
