Wilson: Out of control spending proposed as funds dwindle

by Rep. Charles Wilson

H.810 Proposes to require (actually force) the Secretary of Agriculture, Food & Markets to establish and administer an agricultural workforce( whoever they may be) and Housing Directory to effectively cause farmers to provide employees with affordable housing on or off the farm. What they intentionally leave out, is that this is all at taxpayer’s expense! Socialism. This is at a time when Vermont cannot adjust the State budget. Our one-sided Legislature is trying to fix a taxation problem they created with more taxes.

Most of these problems center around the school tax of possibly 20.5% higher on property taxes. 2023 saw the “Universal School Meals” pass, with (I believe) 33 million of the school property tax dollars going to fund that. Now “Farm to School and Early Childhood Program” wants millions more from the taxpayers! The 2021-2030 “Vermont Agriculture and Food System Plan” (Farm to Plate) is set to implement a strategic food “system”. When questioned if this is aligned with the “U.N. 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” it was quickly dismissed as a “coincidence!” …Really?

S. 306 – “Clean Heat Standard” …changes? To this I reply is H.671- to repeal this bill! (Clean Heat Standard S.306 changes)

The “Global Warming Solutions Act” as reported on January 20, 2020 by the Ethan Allen Institute that the U.N. and the U.S. Climate Alliance claimed a “climate crisis” and now in 2023, The “Vermont Environmental Common Agenda” implemented the Climate Action Plan.

The University of Vermont and the Vermont Legislative Research Service outlines the U.N. Sustainable Development Service. This was sent to me at my request. It spells out the intentions of the U.N. and all those who sign on to it. Thomas Catenacci published on February 5, 2024, states that “The U.N. Foundation is quietly fueling climate policy and funding staff in Democratic/Progressive States.”

Tom Bensman in 2024 writes that “The U.N. budgets millions for U.S. bound migrants and the U.S. is the largest donor to the U.N. 2030 Agenda. Public documents do show cash (credit cards) handouts to feed, transport and house people headed for the U.S. border and throughout the U.S.

I seem to be the only Legislator to warn of the U.N’s end plan to have a one world government run by Global elites who will be someone, from who knows where, telling us what we can eat, where we can live, how we are to worship and therefore invade every aspect of our lives. This all goes around our “Constitutional Law” by legislating in states along with the U.N.’s plans and not a word from “We the People”

We need to vote out the Socialist wolves…hiding in sheep’s clothing!

  1. Couldn’t agree more, Rep. Wilson. But the vote is ineffective. Too many are just rolling along on the slow ride to hell. I don’t know what it will take to remove the supermajority with their intent to destroy our culture, mores and freedom.

    • Just move to a sane state and let the looney voters in Vermont sink themselves. There aren’t sane people in Vermont to right the ship.

  2. sustainable development//// global elite/// universal//// one world government//// united nations/// supported by large non profit foundations run by people that have names/// expose the names///

  3. Fox News concurs with your reporting. A government watchdog organization, GAO, obtained the tax filings for the United Nations Foundation. The tax filings showed that the U.S. Climate Alliance is paying politicians and for agency staff to implement the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Vermont is listed at the end of the article as receiving mone. Governor Scott is a member of the US Climate Alliance.

  4. It is shocking that the rest of our legislators are deaf to the concerns of we citizens of Vermont and that they are also ignorant of the UN/WHO plans to institute a one world government where there is no individual, state, or national sovereignty. Maybe you Mr. Wilson can raise your voice here. I have written to my legislators at the state/federal level and my concerns fall on deaf ears. SW, Waterford, VT

  5. All of this bienniums legislation reminds me of a drunk at closing time, grasping for all the drinks they can get away with. Problem is, we the people are really bad bartenders- allowing the drunk to continue unabated.

  6. when you are sitting in a bar and looking around the room/// the ugly one like government always looks good at closing time///

  7. The UN, being the world’s content “experts”, has become a monster of its own making. The US needs to forcefully suggest the UN headquarters move to a more progressive place (Paris, Dubai) and disengage. The US is the #1 target for all reparation claims by any poor country and the UN leadership supports it fully. The US citizens owe the UN nothing and have no reason to adhere to UN guidance.
