Welch responds to election fraud petition

Mike Lindell

Dear Petition Signer –

Last week, I received Rep. Peter Welch’s response to our petition. I am forwarding it on to you. While civil, Rep. Welch dismisses the possibility of electoral fraud in the 2020 presidential election. He also appears to use the events of Jan. 6 to avoid any responsibility for investigation, even though any electoral fraud occurred well before that date.

With neither media nor government interested (for now, anyway) in investigating, it’s up to concerned Americans to do their own research into this difficult issue. I encourage anyone interested in what happened on Nov. 3 and afterwards to read Patrick Byrne’s fascinating blog post about the inner workings – some might say the dysfunctional inner workings – of the Trump campaign investigation. I published a link to it Friday, January 29 on Vermont Daily. It’s an interesting if subjective read. We have to start somewhere.

Also, I have written to Mike Lindell – the ‘My Pillow’ guy and strong Trump supporter – about his ongoing investigation into electoral fraud. If I hear back from him, I will let you know.

As always, Vermont Daily will cover any developments in this story, which – if true – is the most important news story of the 21st century, although you’d never know it by the seemingly complicit mainstream media. If you have not signed up for a free subscription to Vermont Daily yet, I encourage you to do so.

Thank you,

Dear Mr. Page,

Rep. Peter Welch

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the 2020 presidential election, and a petition urging an investigation by the U.S. House of Representatives into allegations of election fraud. I appreciate your feedback on this important issue.

President Joe Biden won the popular vote, by more than 7 million votes, and the Electoral College. The United States Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), an agency under the Department of Homeland Security, has called this election the most secure in American history. There is no credible evidence of significant voter fraud or that voting systems were compromised.

The court system, members of Congress, and the former President should respect the American people’s decision. Undermining the results of the election with false claims of voter fraud is deeply irresponsible and damages the core of our democratic system honoring the will of the voters and the election outcome.

We saw the violent, anti-democratic consequences of former President Trump’s assault on our electoral system on January 6, 2021. A violent mob, manipulated and lied to by former President Trump and his allies, attacked the U.S. Capitol to stop the electoral vote certification. They failed to stop the certification of the election results, but during the mob attack five people died, including a Capitol police officer, dozens were injured, the Capitol was ransacked, and a pillar of our democracy was shaken. It was a disgraceful attempt by the former President to overturn an election he lost.

Sincerely,

PETER WELCH

Member of Congress

  1. Who’s conspiracy theory is more plausible?

Peter Welch is the consummate ‘deep stater’. While he sits on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, his wife, Margaret Cheney, is one of three Vermont Public Utility Commissioners who determine Vermont’s energy policies. It’s yet another case of conflict of interest and explains why Mr. Welch falls back on the ‘no evidence of fraud’ narrative, which is no less a conspiracy theory than any other, especially given that every fraud investigation requested to date has been stifled by legal technicality.

  2. I would expect no different from this loyal mouth piece of the loony liberal left. Term limits !

  3. Term limits, AMEN!!!!! This guy has taken up space in DC, and that is about all that can be said, except…. he is working hard with his like minded brethren to cover up election fraud. Anyone would have to be a resident of a planet unknown to really believe what he said in his response to MR Page. What a waste!!!! This is the best we can do as our only Rep in the U S House??? God forbid.
He has been a part of a lot of problems rather than being proactive with solutions, and this is the latest. There is evidence galore Peter, you just need to go to the right places. For starters you can go to Mark Levin, a respected attorney in the circles of Joe DeGenova, Sydney Powell and many others.
He had rather cover it up, than to face what is in store for his comrades in arms who did the deeds. When it comes out, and it will some day because the American people will demand it, there will be embarrassment,
    and probably jail for some.
This will all hinge on how united and forceful the Republicans are going to be. They HAVE to pursue this, the future of the country is in the balance, no question about it.

So Peter you and Leaky, and The Bern had better get ready.

    • Welch promised to have us out of Afghanistan when he got “elected”. Thanks to fake “news” WCAX, we will never get accurate info on our three stooges.

  4. Welch should relinquish his position down there, all the proof in his lap and still,,,what a waste

  5. Rep. Peter Welch – I judge you as wrong, corrupt, and bought off. May your righteous punishment be swift.

  6. I had a sign on my car this summer that read IMPEACH WELCH – oh if it could only be. I couldn’t believe now many thumbs up I got. One guy leaned right out his window to give me a thumbs up. It is astounding that this guy gets ONE VOTE never mind enough to be in office. He is such a profoundly dishonest person. He KNOWS the last impeachment was a farce and he KNOWS this one is too – Everything about both of these impeachments were completely false. And yet Pete takes up his democrat lying mouthpiece and repeats the false narratives as if we are to listen to him and believe ONE WORD he says. (I don’t believe ANYTHING he says) And if he actually believed these charges were true he would be on the case getting rid of Maxine Waters for her blatant incitement of violence. He’d get Kamala out of office as well for creating a fund to bail out criminal rioters. He’d get after Bernie for inciting the shooter that almost killed Steve Scalise. In typical form, Welch flexes his hypocritical muscle. That is his middle name: Peter Hypocrite Welch. His full name: Lying Peter Hypocrite Welch.
