I’m a bit perplexed as to why we’re being told it’s so dry. Perhaps it depends on the location. Not even two weeks ago it rained a LOT where I live and last Sunday it snowed 3 or more inches. That snow just disappeared on the north side of my house only yesterday and the lower part of my lawn (south facing) is still squishy, I’m quite certain I could burn with no problems at my place.
We’ve had flood watches and warnings of and on for over two weeks. Grant it, the ground underfoot is squishy and muddy but there is still fuel from the just budding ‘sticks’ and last years growth protruding, particularly on a breezy day. Remember years ago standing in mud to the top of the toes on my boots while extinguishing a brush fire.
TEL. LIE VISION needs a new drama every night.
“She wondered aloud, then, if the technical correction bill’s focus on ‘sports car events,’ rather than ‘races,’ would prompt a veto from Vermont’s stock car racing Gov. Scott.”
They can spend their time and our tax dollars blithering about this inanity, but continue to dither over deciding whether and where to lock up deranged murderers.
This would be dark comedic satire if it weren’t really happening…
