Looks like more weather warfare in Vermont.
I could see why there’s a downtown flooding problem in Barre. There are three storm drains in front and on the side of my house. Not one drop of street water gets directed towards the drains. Torrents of water flow down the street and head into the downtown area. I keep the drains free of leaves and debris but unless I put sandbags out or radically change the street surface – the drains are worthless. It doesn’t take engineering science to see the problem.
Our elected lawmakers should make new laws which prescribe extremely high or no bail for criminals who lead police on 100+ MPH wild goose chases. Not only are they extremely recklessly putting countless lives in danger through their selfishness irresponsibility, they are also living embodiments of the high risk of flight, which they only have all too literally demonstrated.
Thank God that the men attacked by the beaver are okay.
But I do have to wonder: was Mr. Shortsleeve previously known as Mr. Longsleeve prior to being bitten?🤔
