  1. I’m surprised they showed any of the video, of course they left out the best parts. Balint received a million dollars from one person, nobody talks about that. Notice, despite the satire, they don’t talk about accuracy, just claims of inaccuracy.

Memes are the most powerful when they include the truth and portray the truth, which is why it’s found so offensive. It’s why they didn’t include the best parts of the video.

Jesus Christ and the bible used ancient memes 2,000 + years ago. And interestingly, that is why people won’t let it in the schools, theocracies won’t let it in, why entire countries won’t let the Bible in their country.

    Here’s one one.

    Proverbs 24:30-31
    New International Version
30 I went past the field of a sluggard,
    past the vineyard of someone who has no sense;
31 thorns had come up everywhere,
the ground was covered with weeds,
and the stone wall was in ruins.

In our case we have somebody who was bought and paid for by ftx money, funneled through Ukraine, which has become one of the greatest money laundering countries on the planet, Ukraine, known for the highest ethical standards….cough, cough….can’t have elections and watch me play the piano with my penis leader…..yeah that one.

    • 😮 🫣 😬 to the video. Sorry I clicked on it. Oh, the depravity!

    • I’ll take a leader that plays the piano with his penis over one that starts and loses a war to cover up all the heinous things that he’s done with his lol

    • The joy of TDS is people will accept anything but. The conversation isn’t even about Trump and people just have to talk about Trump. People think it’s a magic statement, if I say something about Trump nobody will notice what the previous conversation was about.

Balint took a million dollars, the entire campaign was bought by one person, funneled by the piano player, but oh, but, but, but look at what some idiot said about Michelle Obama……

There is no wonder we can’t get anything done in Vermont.

    • From Google AI:
“Rhetorical deflection is a communication tactic used to avoid answering a question, addressing a criticism, or taking responsibility. Instead of directly engaging with the issue, the speaker steers the conversation elsewhere—often by changing the subject, shifting blame, or questioning the accuser’s motives.

      Common Techniques-
Rhetorical deflection can take many different forms in a conversation:

Whataboutism: Deflecting criticism by pointing out an opposing or similar flaw in the person raising the issue (e.g., “You say I was late today, but what about the time you were an hour late last week?”).

Blame-Shifting: Redirecting the responsibility for a mistake onto someone or something else.

Straw-Manning: Distorting or oversimplifying the critic’s actual argument so it is easier to attack or dismiss.

Reframing: Using intentional grammatical choices (e.g., passive voice) to move the focus of the sentence away from the person at fault.

Deflecting via Humor or Anger: Using an emotional outburst or a joke to distract from the subject at hand.”

      Who would employ such tactics?…..

    • Yes Neil, I have TDS as I watch a senile boomer destroy the American Empire and ruin my children’s future. You’re in a cult and use your bible to justify bad behavior. Which one of us is worse?

“interestingly, that is why people won’t let it in the schools” Maybe you should re-read the 1st Amendment
