VSP makes sex crime arrests

A Glover man has been arrested for three alleged sexual assaults that occurred in Waterville, VT in 2021.

Vermont State Police arrested Atticus Gillen, 31, on August 24 and transported him to Vermont State Police Derby Barracks for processing. He was later seen at the Lamoille County Superior Court, Criminal Division where the judge ordered Gillen be held without bail pending further court proceedings.

The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.

In an unrelated case, state police August 24 at 11 AM arrested William White, 36, of Bethel for Lewd & Lascivious Conduct with a Child and Voyeurism. The arrest resulted from an investigation that was initiated when police received information that William White performed these acts approximately six to seven years prior in 2015 and 2016. White was released on a citation to appear to Windsor County Court on Sept. 13.
