Thousands of books for sale in the basement of the Kellogg Hubbard Library in Montpelier were destroyed by floodwaters July 10-11.
The library holds an ongoing sale of donated and out-of-circulation books. After the flood, the books were transferred to the library lawn. Saturday, workers pushed the books to the curb with a tractor.
Trash haulers are scheduled to remove the book debris and other piles of flood debris from downtown Montpelier.

So I suppose this means that the surrounding towns like the one I live in will have our “tribute” to the KH Library upped to compensate for the damage ? And I also assume this increase will be sold as a “one time” increase like the expansion was, right ? Ayup one time… right !
