Keegan Bradley had an abysmal showing in the latest major world golf tournament.
The Woodstock native, who is otherwise the best golfer ever to come out of Vermont, tied for 32nd place Sunday in the U.S. Open.
Bradley has only one bragging right coming out of the tournament – and a dubious one at that.
He tied Rory McIlroy, currently the world’s No. 1 golf phenom, for 32nd place.
They both ended up at 6 over, which was 10 strokes off the winner, Wyndham Clark, who captured the top spot at 4 under.
Bradley has one major to his name – the 2011 PGA, which he won in his professional debut, one of only six golfers in history to do so.
The nephew of former LPGA player and World Golf Hall of Fame member Pat Bradley turned 40 three weeks ago.
In the history of men’s professional golf, 29 players have won majors at age 40 or older.

“Abysmal”?!
Just 6 over for 4 rounds at Shinnecock?
Go boil your head.
