Vermont rabbi to speak on Jewish influence on founding of America

Restoring Our Faith, the Vermont non-profit that brought Dennis Prager to Vermont last year, is sponsoring an upcoming lecture titled The Hebraic Influence on the Founding of America featuring Rabbi Asher Crispe Thursday, June 29th at 6:30 pm at 57 South Williams Street in Burlington. Admission is free, refreshments will be served.

  1. Not even close to ‘first in the new world’. The synagogue in Curacao was consecrated in 1732 and is still operating. If basic historic statements are that wrong I question credibility and validity. BTW, been in the Curacao synagogue – it’s lovely, as are the congregants.

    • I never knew that either. It makes sense. A number of “crypto” Jews came to the New World seeking freedom.
