Two weeks after VT man infected by mosquito virus, New Hampshire records first death

Two weeks after a Vermont man was hospitalized for Eastern equine encephalitis, a New Hampshire person has died of the mosquito-borne virus.

Vermont State Health Department officials on August 9 announced the first human case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) in Vermont since 2012. EEE is a rare but serious disease caused by a virus spread to people through the bite of an infected mosquito.

The case, a male in his 40s from Chittenden County, was hospitalized on July 16, but left the hospital a week later. The case was detected through laboratory testing and reporting by the health care provider. The Health Department coordinated specimen submission to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and received confirmatory results on Aug. 8. To protect patient confidentiality, the Health Department did not release individual personal health information.

Additionally, mosquitoes collected last week from Colchester and Alburgh tested positive for EEE virus on Aug. 8. Mosquitoes collected from Alburgh and Swanton previously tested positive for EEE virus on July 22.

The New Hampshire Department of Health officials on August 27 announced an adult from Hampstead, New Hampshire tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus (EEEV) infection, was hospitalized due to severe central nervous system disease, and has passed away due to their illness.

EEEV is a rare but serious disease transmitted to people by infected mosquitos. The last reported human EEEV infection in New Hampshire was in 2014, when DHHS identified three human infections, including two fatalities. In addition to the person with EEEV infection announced today, EEEV has been detected in one horse and seven mosquito batches  in New Hampshire so far this summer. EEEV has also been detected in neighboring states, including in Massachusetts (one person, one horse, and 69 mosquito samples) and Vermont (one person and 47 mosquito samples).

“In New Hampshire, mosquitos transmit infections including Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus, West Nile Virus, and Jamestown Canyon Virus,” said State Epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan. “We believe there is an elevated risk for EEEV infections this year in New England given the positive mosquito samples identified. The risk will continue into the fall until there is a hard frost that kills the mosquitos. Everybody should take steps to prevent mosquito bites when they are outdoors.”

EEEV can cause flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, muscle aches, and joint pain. EEEV can also cause severe neurological disease, such as inflammation of the brain and membranes around the spinal cord (i.e. encephalitis and meningitis). Approximately one-third of all people who develop encephalitis from EEEV die from their infection, and many others experience life-long physical or mental impacts. There is no vaccine or antiviral treatment for EEEV.

To prevent EEEV infection and prevent mosquito bites, use effective mosquito repellents, wear long sleeves and pants when outside, and avoid outdoor activities in the early morning and evening hours when mosquitos are most active. It is also important for residents to remove standing water from around their homes to reduce mosquito populations and ensure doors and windows have tight-fitting screens without holes.

  1. Bill Gates mosquitoes are pushing more population control. I will have to lock down in my house to feel safe. Maybe i should curfew myself.

    • Better yet. make a paste of DDT and apply it to exposed skin ares. May surprise you, but ti works. Story behind this:
Had an uncle serving in the Army during WW2 is in the south pacific on islands. The mosquitoes were so bad they made the paste of DDT and kept healthy and were able to sleep. This was before all the repellents today. He lived healthy and died at 100 in St Johnsbury, lived in East Burke. True story, from his mouth direct to me.

  2. Are those the same mosquitoes Bill Gates and Co are dumping on us, since 2011 — without our consent?
Is there a patent on those mosquitoes?
Are they bearers of the mark of the beast?
Are we being inculcated to fear God’s creations?
Are we being inculcated to stay away from God’s creations…??? Why? Qui bono?

I called the alarm on these dumps when they were first done in Vermont 8 year ago… like the chemtrails… ticks scared us into preferring simulations and synthetic realities to God’s creations… developed at Plum Island in the 50s as they were …but lets ignore the biowarfare gov’t insurgents are deploying in yet another ploy to scare us into complying with their satanic preference for human sacrifice before their altar to Moloch…

When we get the right root cause of our health issues…we heal. When we use synthetics that trick our body (AI) into thinking its healing… and yet recurred… then we will truly be healed. (Hint: somewhere between what our eyes are able to see and ears are able to hear, and the evidence before our eyes — Holmes’ theory — and God’s promise that He can heal us of our sins… then we will have left the dominion of the evil one to his minions).

We are being programmed with self-fulfilling prophecies… we’re easy to lead into wrong causes if we forbear seeking the truth and losing our fear of any authority other than God’s…

There is a HUGE difference between these two words:
    MEDICINE
    HEALING
One does heal. The other propagandizes your mind and body into thinking its healed…and never does…

  3. I just sent a check to Vermont Daily Chronicles for a one year donation. Keep up the good work. Also i was just kidding about hiding in my house.

  4. All of these quotes are taken directly from the CDC website. “Most people infected with EEEV do not develop symptoms”. Treatment: “Rest, fluids, and over the counter pain medicines might relieve some symptoms”. Your healthcare provider can diagnose EEE based on “signs and symptoms”, “History of living in or traveling to an area where EEE virus is known to circulate”, “History of possible exposure to the mosquitoes that can carry EEEV” “Laboratory testing of blood or spinal fluid” (interesting to note a blood or spinal fluid test is NOT required). “EEE virus infection can result in febrile illness (fever), or neurologic disease. The type of illness will depend on the age of the person and other factors”

Go to the CDC website yourself. You will see tons of key words like ‘most’ ‘can’, ‘or’, ‘depend’, ‘possible’, etc. Very little affirmative information.

This article says 1/3 of all people who develop encephalitis from EEEV virus die. Horrifying!!! However, now that we know. “EEE virus infection CAN result in,……..neurologic disease. We see how small this number probably is.

Keep your immune system strong! If you start feeling crappy take a good long convalesce drinking water and tons of bone broths and double up on supplements (D3 is a huge one!). No one is guaranteed a life without sickness. We are all going to die and worrying about it will do nothing but get you there sooner. Thank heavens this is a virus, so no vaccine is being pushed on the public.

    • We are in significantly more danger just riding in our cars. I find it telling that some communities in Mass. are having evening curfew to prevent exposure to this “threat”. Many people are hypnotized by the fear propaganda from media, medical industry and elected officials. Sad state of affairs.

  5. Oh, good grief Mark, yes my mistake. Covid is a virus. I was thinking about bacteria verses virus and antibiotic use.

    • Specifically, covid is a coronavirus. The common cold is also a coronavirus. So they’re related. Now think. We’ve all been taught that there’s no cure for the common cold. Why? Because it mutates like crazy. And covid does the same, since it’s also a coronavirus. Therefore, like the common cold, there will never be a cure for covid. And no, mRNA gene manipulation is definitely not the answer.

      Prove me wrong with science.

  6. Just in time for selection season! Tennesse and Alabama schools closed due to COVID cases. Monkeypox declared a health emergency by the WHO. Portugul signed over it’s rights to the WHO in prepartion for the next plandemic. Cyber-attacks hitting in the USA. Masks on! Ballots in the mail! Communications blackout! The globalist’s last stand – hope you are all ready and prepared.

  7. I propose we ban all after dark driving. Because, you know, if we’re not driving, nobody’s dying in car wrecks. Except for drunks. Leave the roads to them after dark. It’ll make the DUI roadblocks far more efficient.

I propose we ban the consumption of vegetables. Because, you know, listeria kills half a dozen people every year.

I propose we ban air travel. Because, you know, a couple hundred people die in plane crashes every year.

I propose we ban working. Because, you know, a couple hundred people die in workplace accidents every year. In fact, working is the USA’s most hidden and least talked about epidemic.

I propose we ban suicide. Because, you know, tens of thousands of people commit suicide every year. If we make it illegal, suicide rates will plummet.

Of course, I could go on and on. Feel free to add to the list. My point is, when you look at it through the above lens, you see how ridiculous the whole EEE hysteria really is.

Folks, it’s all about control. Theirs. Over you.

We’re all going to die at some point. If my life story is meant to end from consuming, I don’t know, tainted peanut butter? So be it. It beats fighting some disease for years knowing the inevitable is, well, inevitable. You start seeing dead relatives in your room, that ought to be a hint that your time is about up. I’ll take the tainted peanut butter. You?
