A woman listed as a person of interest in a Thursday morning domestic stabbing turned herself in Saturday morning, state police said.

At about 6:05 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 51-year-old Tamara Stone of Brandon returned to the home on Triangle Court where the incident occurred and called 911. Responding troopers located and arrested Stone at the scene.

She was jailed on a warrant for two counts of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree aggravated domestic assault. Stone was ordered held without bail at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility in Rutland pending arraignment.

Stone is expected to appear in court on Monday, June 29.

The Vermont State Police expressed appreciation for the many law-enforcement agencies that assisted in the search for Stone, and the members of the public who provided information.

No additional details are available. The affidavit of probable cause will be filed with the court and made public following Stone’s arraignment.
