Scott administration to continue key issue briefings

The Scott administration will continue its series of briefings for legislators over the next two weeks on a range of issues that are important to Vermont communities. The briefings will provide an efficient overview of major issue areas that the Governor will prioritize this session and allow for an open exchange between executive and legislative branch officials.

This year is the first in recent memory in which the governor’s office has held in-depth, regular briefings.

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, the Administration covered public safety, as well as climate and energy innovation. Administration officials say these briefings will be uploaded to YouTube for public viewing.

Due to predicted poor driving conditions, this week’s scheduled briefing on economic revitalization and affordability will be rescheduled to the week of January 23rd.

Wednesday, January 18 – Education and Workforce, 4:15 – 5:15 p.m. – Pavilion Auditorium
