Police seek suspect in two armed robberies

Vermont State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Center Tower gas station on Memorial Drive at approximately 5:56 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities report that an unknown male suspect entered the premises and took an undisclosed sum of money from the cash register when the clerk opened it.

There were no physical injuries reported during the incident.

Following the theft, the suspect made a getaway in a vehicle.

Investigators believe the individual involved in the Center Tower robbery is also connected to a previous incident at Nick’s Gas N Go in Lyndonville.

The State Police are seeking assistance from the public and urge anyone with information or who can identify the suspect in the provided images to contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111. – State police reports via Newport Dispatch
