The abortion appointment no-show rates doubles when 40 Days for Life is praying on the sidewalk outside, a Planned Parenthood director from Northern California said.
“Prayer works, presence works,” 40 Days for Life director Shawn Carney said on a recently released video (above). He also noted that the spring 40 Days for Life campaign has been the largest ever, in the post Roe V. Wade environment, he said.
Carney noted he was speaking from the national 40 Days for Life office – a former abortion clinic. Carney’s encouragement was echoed by Barre 40 Days for Life coordinator Tom Kelly.
“Your prayer has an impact. Our prayer continues to end abortion and close all facilities which promote this evil. May His will be done,” Kelly said in an email to supporters.
There will be a supper at Barre’s St. Monica Church parish hall, Friday, March 24 from 5pm – 7pm, with soup and similar fare. The meal, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, is free with donations accepted to benefit Care Net. Baby items will be accepted in lieu of money.
Next Sunday, April 2, will mark the closing rally for this spring campaign, 2:45pm to 3:30pm, in the sidewalk vicinity of the Barre Planned Parenthood clinic. For more information contact Kelly at thomaskelly.tom@gmail.com.
