The entire government supports this decision. The IDF will immediately use all its power to destroy Hamas’ capabilities,” he added, warning that Israel is headed for a “difficult” war that is set to “take time.”

The longer fighting continues, the higher the number of prisoners will become.” A public radio report indicated that captives were being held in three communities inside Israel and that some of the detainees were missing and had possibly been moved to Gaza.

Hillary Clinton Calls for ‘Formal Deprogramming’ of MAGA ‘Cult Members’ | 5 Oct 2023 | Former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said Thursday on CNN’s Primetime she believed there needed to be a “formal deprogramming of the cult members” who support former President Donald Trump. Clinton said, “You saw the number of Republicans who voted along with Democrats to keep the government open, so there’s clearly a common sense, sane part of the Republican caucus in the House…I mean, we had very strong partisans in both parties in the past and we had very bitter battles over all kinds of things, gun control, and climate change, and the economy, and taxes. But there wasn’t this little tail of extremism wagging the dog of the Republican Party as it is today. And sadly, so many of those extremists, those MAGA extremists, take their marching orders from Donald Trump, who has no credibility left by any measure. He’s only in it for himself. He’s now defending himself in civil actions and criminal actions. When do they break with him? You know, because at some point, you know, maybe there needs to be a formal deprogramming of the cult members. But something needs to happen.”

CDC repeatedly misrepresents mask research, mask mandates worsen depression: studies –Agency claims masks work even when masked group has higher infection rate. | 6 Oct 2023 | Public health agencies that spent the past three-and-a-half years promoting their preferred COVID-19 interventions as “The Science,” above the realm of policy tradeoffs, are finally facing sustained skepticism from top American research journals as well as the public. The CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, which is widely cited but not externally peer-reviewed, serially exaggerated the evidence for mask-wearing among 77 such outside studies it published, according to an independent review by epidemiologists at the University of California San Francisco, the system’s health sciences campus. Just 14% of MMWR studies reached statistical significance and 30% actually studied mask effectiveness. Yet three-quarters concluded that masks were effective, authors Tracy Beth Hoeg, Alyson Haslam and Vinay Prasad wrote in the peer-reviewed American Journal of Medicine, the official journal of a consortium of five associations in academic internal medicine.

Natanyahu tells civilians to leave Gaza, but Gaza is an open-air concentration camp and no one can leave. Gaza is 25 mi long, from 3.7 to 7.5 mi wide, and has a total area of 141 sq mi. Gaza ranks as the 3rd most densely populated place in the world. The vast majority of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are descendants of refugees who fled or were expelled from the area that Israel occupied after the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, and after the 1917 Balfour Declaration gave the Palestinian homeland to the Zionists. Two million people squeezed unjustly into 141 square miles and now told to leave if they don’t want to be bombed. For comparison, Vermont is around 9600 square miles.
Riding around Vermont I see all the Stand With Ukraine signs and Ukrainian flags flying at the homes of Vermont residents. Let’s see how many Stand With Israel or Israeli flags will be flown in Vermont. Will Becca Balint fly one at her house?
Anyone care to make a guess?
