School banned for not playing team with trans player seeks injunction

Mid Vermont Christian School, which was expelled from the Vermont Principals’ Association because it refused to play in a girls basketball tournament game last year against a high school using a transgender player, asked the state group this week to reconsider allowing student participation.
The written request, which was made on Tuesday, comes in the wake of a hearing in U.S. District Court in Burlington about Mid Vermont Christian students being discriminated against by not being allowed to participate in many of the same activities as other students across the state.
Chief Federal Judge Geoffrey W. Crawford heard about 90 minutes of arguments. Mid Vermont Christian is seeking a preliminary injunction against to allow their students to participate in extracurricular activities. Meanwhile lawyers representing the various defendants, including the VPA, the Vermont Agency of Education and their leaders, asked the federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit filed in November by Mid Vermont and two sets of parents on behalf of their children.
Crawford took all the arguments and legal filings under advisement. He did not give any idea on how long it might take to issue a written decision on the complex issues.
Mid Vermont maintains it should not face additional penalties beyond a loss when taking a forfeit based on religious or free speech grounds.

FYI-a principal is a school administrator, often a member of the VPA. They do things like make sure Christian schools can’t discriminate against public school students. A principle is a foundational value or moral belief. For example, many Christians love to tell non-Christians just how principled they are, usually right before saying or doing something un-principled, like loving thy neighbor. Often they will show you how they got their principles, not from family or loved ones, but from a book of fairy tales over 2000 years old.
Now let me show you like a good teacher: Principals often have principles based on equality that prevent bigots (like Mid-Vermont) that claim to have have principles that use to try to discriminate against people different from them and because they suck at basketball. Do you see the difference now?
Chris obviously know nothing about sports or women’s competition. If she/he ever competed, he/she wouldn’t make such stupid statements.
When Associations, of any type, stand on politically conjured ideology that serves only few is not for the public good or interest. They stand on unconstitutional, shakey ground and misappropriate funding to serve politically motivated agendas. The “movement” is to subvert the rule of law – the Bill of Rights. The fact is no matter what NGO’s or Associations want to push down our throats, no matter what institutions say or do to subvert the law as declared and decreed, the People have the authority and the right to remove them, defund them, and charge them with sedition. The only reason the People do not excerise the right to do so is because they are bamboozled with bs.

How about the idea of basic safety? Males are physiologically and biologically bigger, stronger and faster than females. The fact that the high school girls didn’t feel safe playing against a male should never have been questioned.
I wish more women would refuse to compete against men. They are not, and never will be an equal match. Men will never be women and I’m personally offended by them pretending to be. Unless they’ve lived the full female experience they have no idea what it means to be a woman and are just play acting- and most are doing a lousy job of it.
VPA: “[Mid Vermont Christian School] has every right to teach its beliefs to its own students. It cannot, however, impose those beliefs on students from other public and private schools; deny students from other schools the opportunity to play; or hurt students from other schools because of who those students are.”
It beggars belief that the VPA can’t whiff the stench of its own hypocrisy. We’re going to punish Mid Vermont Christian School for imposing its Christian beliefs on its students by (you guessed it) imposing our secular beliefs on all Vermont students.
Not only that, but this is not even a Christian or moral issue. This is a sanity, safety and scientific issue.
VPA has been ideologically captured by activists and needs to be boycotted by every sane Vermonter.
Mid-Vermont Christian School should be able to forfeit for whatever reason it wants. It didn’t deny anyone the right to play – it allowed the other team to win and continue playing. The vast majority of people, and maybe even a majority in Vermont, believe boys play boys and girls play girls in sports. So this is nothing more than anti-Christian bigotry.
Taking into consideration the recent 9-0 SCOTUS decision in Muldrow v. City of St. Louis and this: Source: The Washington Compost[sic] “the Supreme Court struck down the use of race-conscious college admissions last June, overturning more than four decades of precedent. Soon after, Harvard’s first Black president resigned amid plagiarism allegations and her much-criticized comments about antisemitism on campus — an event that conservatives cast as a win against DEI. Moreover, legal challenges have been lobbed against multiple federal and state government diversity programs, forcing some to open their services to people of all racial backgrounds.”
Ipso facto, Judge Crawford has recent SCOTUS case law to reference in this discrimination case. Based on either race or gender, constitutional law of civil liberties and civil rights is colliding head-on. Lawfare warfare boomerangs, billable hours and punting DEI grifts the curb. Hitting them in the wallets and budgets is effective.
This denial of biology has gone on long enough. You can bleat all you want, but a man can never be a woman, any more than denying fire is not hot, or the feeling of being smacked in the gob is not actually pain. The VPA are clearly imbeciles masquerading as “educators”, where education used to be the dissemination of facts. But “facts” are inconvenient these days, and so they hold hostage sports programs instead.
Parents, you need to rise up and flush this sewage back to the muck it came from, and take back your schools and your kids!!

But speaking of fact, Mid Vermont Christian has a noteworthy team – with the boys’ team beating Long Trail just last year which won them the VPA Division championship. The losing team, Vermont’s Boys’ Long Trail School was the team the player-in-question “Rose” should have been playing for but presumably & likely didn’t qualify for because of his own poor performance (or “sucked” as you pose poor athletic prowess) at basketball. Instead, he opted, as the 6-foot-tall male he is, to attempt to play on the girls’ team which Mid Christian graciously and wisely forfeited — knowing how girls & young women are being seriously injured in sporting events caused directly by the taller, heavier, & more muscled males posing as females.
You see, no matter what hormones a male ingests or what body appendages he has surgically removed or what faux appendages he has attached, no male can ever change his sex. Therefore, he belongs neither in female restrooms, locker rooms or on their athletic teams usurping their awards & scholarships and injuring players. Do you see the difference now?

If you really believe that a boy got cut from a boys team, claimed he was a girl and played for the girls team, despite rules that state a person must be on hormone blockers for a year to play, to play DIV basketball, you are as dumb as I think you are. See, that’s known as basic biology. “Rose” belongs on his boys’ basketball team, in his boys’ locker room and out of the girls’ restrooms. “Rose” cannot alter his DNA any more than you can keep from behaving like the witless Communist you are.; in other words – zero percent chance.
Any person who espouses that males can “transform” into females is not merely just ignorant about the most basic of scientific principals, but is rather as irrational and profoundly moronic as one gets.
Kathleen, how dare you cite biological facts to a liberal. They are the only true purveyors of valid science and the definers of misinformation and we must re-examine and likely re-write those old biology textbooks to suit modern thinking.
