A 50-year-old Lyndonville man is being held without bail after Vermont State Police arrested him Wednesday on allegations that he sexually assaulted a victim repeatedly over a six-year period.

Kyle O’Suileabhain was charged with sexual assault and lewd and lascivious conduct following an investigation that began June 17, according to police.
Investigators allege the assaults occurred in Lyndonville between 2020 and 2026.

The Vermont State Police did not release additional details about the allegations or the number of incidents involved. The identity of the alleged victim was withheld, consistent with the agency’s policy in sexual assault cases.

O’Suileabhain was arrested July 22 and transported to Caledonia Superior Court for arraignment. Following the hearing, a judge ordered that he be held without bail. He was subsequently lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Complex.

The investigation was conducted by Detective Cpl. Christopher Pilner of the Vermont State Police’s St. Johnsbury Barracks.
