Gerald Malloy, the GOP candidate for U.S. Senate, yesterday criticized Sen. Bernie Sanders’ resolution to block a weapons sale to Israel as “yet another going nowhere publicity stunt.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders on Wednesday, September 18 announced his intention to file Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRD) that would block the sale of offensive U.S. weaponry to Israel.

The noticed sales include: Joint Direct Attack Munitions, or JDAMs ($262 million), 120mm tank rounds ($774.1 million), 120mm high explosive mortar rounds ($61.1 million), Medium Tactical Vehicles ($583.1 million), and up to fifty new F-15IA multi-role fighter aircraft, as well as upgrades to twenty-five current Israeli F-15s, plus additional equipment ($18.82 billion).

Malloy stated:

“I stand by Israel to defend itself against the terrorists that attacked it. I have been in combat and pray for peace every day. The weakness of the progressive left and its foreign policy of supporting Iran led to the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

“Now Senator Sanders is seeking to block a weapons sale to Israel.  As usual, there is more to the story: yet another going nowhere publicity stunt resolution against  mostly jets to be delivered in 2029!   This is from someone that claimed to be a conscientious objector (denied), and that along with the rest of Vermont’s congressional delegation protested the Israel Prime Minister’s recent visit to Congress – even as US citizens are being held hostage by Hamas.

“This and Ukraine would not have happened under a Republican administration, and a Republican administration will return peace to Europe and the Middle East. Four more years of foreign policy failure from the progressive left will probably result in WWIII.”

Coester takes no tax hike pledge – Mark Coester of Westminster, the Republican candidate for Congress in Vermont’s At-Large District, now held by Democrat Becca Balint, has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge with Americans for Tax Reform (ATR). By signing this pledge, Coester has made the commitment that if elected, he will never raise their taxes.
Coester stated: “I will never vote to raise taxes on my fellow citizens. I firmly believe that government should live within its means, just like the hardworking Vermonters do. Signing this pledge is my promise to you that I will speak out and vote against any tax increases that may come from Washington. Instead of taxing our citizens out of their own livelihood, Washington must focus on ending irresponsible overseas spending. We have a serious spending problem in our government, and it will quickly bankrupt the country if we do not solve it immediately.”

The Taxpayer Protection Pledge is a public commitment to oppose any and all efforts for tax increases and has been signed by more than 1,400 elected officials.

Rodgers endorses Murray – John Rodgers, the former Democrat House and Senate member who is the GOP nominee for lieutenant governor, has endorsed Windsor County Senate candidate Andrea Murray because, he said in a recent letter, “Andrea understands the excessive cost of living our current legislature has implemented is unsustainable.”

“I am pleased to offer my support to and endorsement of Andrea Murray for the Vermont State Senate representing the Windsor District,” Rodgers said. “Andrea is a mother and the wife of a veteran as well as a farmer and businesswoman.  She understands the fiscal challenges that many Vermonters are facing.  Andrea understands the excessive cost of living our current legislature has implemented is unsustainable.”

“I believe that the people of Windsor District need and deserve a moderate woman who can represent the many people in the district that feel they do not have representation in the Vermont State Senate,” Rodgers said. “It is time for more balance in the Windsor District and in the Vermont State Senate.”

  1. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Wednesday, September 18 announced his intention to file Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRD) that would block the sale of offensive U.S. weaponry to Israel. but Vermont’s Barking Buffoon is ok with spending billions for Ukraine, not one of our allies …….

Typical Sanders he’s always on the wrong side of everything, this is the year to send this socialist fool packing……… Vote for Gerald Malloy !!

  2. Hillary Clinton a number of years ago said, “if you tell a lie long enough it becomes truth”. (Why, because most Americans don’t take the time to discover to discover what is actually going on. If they hear a lie enough times, it becomes truth in their minds).
BERNIE SANDERS, as the over the top socialistic (antisemitic) Mayor, to Representative, to Senator name is so highlighted. Like a lie, the American people (especially Vermonter’s) most don’t take the time to learn his policy, he is just a popular name in their mind. Because he is in the news often, in many minds he becomes like a hero (without understanding his only hero powers is being antisemitic and socialist). So the Voting For Bernie cycle continues without logic, or any full grasp of how he wants to destroy Vermont and America; and watch the Jews (of which he is one) be destroyed.

  3. Send the liberal leftist Dem Tyrants packing period!
The bottom line “GET REAL” and get out and VOTE Republicans up and down the Ballots Vermonters! Get-R-Done Patriots Get-R-Done 👍🇺🇸🗽🇺🇸👍
    Like allways that Vermonter!!
